We need to turn the ship in the right direction in a few years then full steam ahead. Id much rather have the sure fire 2-3 years to respectability over the hit or miss decade guy. Big thanks to the OP on this one. When you let the emotions go step back and look at things objectively we went from getting the piss beat out of us 34-3, to a game tied at halftime and decided by a couple turnovers. This while our defense is kicking ass with DQ and Barton out, both of our MLB who communicate to the rest of the defense. So we halved the score when our D has less weapons. I know some around here think that the Browns are supposed to win one game against a much better opponent ala Giants game last year but guess what? Not this year!

Exactly. I played basketball as a kid in the little leagues and i could coach the cavs to the playoffs. Its all about talent you have it or you dont. Sure we could be decent/good with a bunch of average players working together and executing but without those game changers were not going to the playoffs. i think Mangini will get us there eventually though.

Thats what I like to do. I have NFL Rewind were i can watch all the games from 08 and this season and i try to really cue in on certain positions like the lines, LB's stuff like that. I swear ive watched all our games 08-09 at least 3 times and the NY game last year about 10 times(whenever i get depressed about the Browns). I didn't really start watching football till the later half of last year so i try and do a lot of studying on Rewind and on all the boards in whatnot. I have to say ive def learned more on these boards in almost a year than some people i talk to that have been football guys their whole lives. So yeah anyone wants to really "scout" the Browns or our competitors should check out the NFL Rewind. Its all game no commercials and the average game lasts about 2 hours, you can pause and rewind all that good stuff.

Im the Manager at a Chickfila Restaurant here in Fort Walton Beach Florida, which is half way between Pensacola and Panama City. I have about 15 pounds to lose and then ill be in the Air Force hopefully as an Aerial Gunner on Helicopters.

Mangini got the gameball and Cribbs is most def the heart and soul of this team. Good to see the view from the inside instead of all the "the players are quitting on Mangini" Bullshit forced down our throats by those in the media. This team believes in itself and believe it or not im looking forward to the Pittsburgh game next week. They have kinks in their armor and its starting to show. If the Lions can come close than we have a chance to steal one. Definitely iffy but there is a chance.

On a side note talking about the Flash/WildDawg. Anyone else excited that we tried a flea flicker? Seemed pretty unconventional...also on a side note anyone see us do a QB Sneak on first down? Both ended rather badly...

Thanks for the info there. Should be a good game didn't know your DB's were so beat up so hopefully it won't be too bad without an established threat in our WR corps. Not to say their bad but BE was good at drawing coverage. I think the Browns should get their 1st W this week but good luck to the Bills after that!
