On this Linebacker thing, with Gocong gone the Browns have the following: DQ Jackson MLB Fujita when he comes back Maiava The above are the only veterans on the team. You also have the draft choices: Emmanuale Acho James Michael Johnson But the Browns also have the following LBs on their roster: JoJo Dickson from Idaho L.J. Fort of N. Iowa Benjamin Jacobs of Fresno St. Craig Robertson of N. Texas Actually, only 1 of the above is a rookie. The others are second year players that were picked up somewhere along the way. Also....question....what about Marcus Bernard? Can he play the OLB position if need be? So, the final question, with Gocong's injury: What will the Browns depth chart at LB look like coming out of this? How many will they keep on the roster?

I don't see major changes - now.... if the Browns underwhelm badly during the season, later on, after the season is over, then, sure, changes will happen. But the Browns finally seem to have all the pieces in place to be kickin ass. I bet they do. We'll see. BTW, John, the picks haven't proven themselves over time? There's a bunch of second year and first year players. If the Browns make the fans proud, no changes. Same old struggles? Changes, you betcha. I'm thinking better than 8-8. Seriously.

You must have a franchise QB if you want to win a SB, we don't have one. Doesn't matter how good the rest of the team is, without a top tier QB we aren't winning anything. If the FO believe RG3 is a franchise guy you have to look at acquiring him. I can't say what is too much, but sometimes short term pain is worth long term gain. On the flipside if he were to bust and we gave up a lot then we would never hear the end of it.
