Btw, where are you hearing these rumors? And who would Philly pick at #4?? They dont need Richardson, Blackmon, or especially Claiborne haha

Tony Grossi was on the really big show on wknr this morning, and he said he heard that philly secretly is in love with tannehill, and might look to trade up to get him. He said if they made the trade with the browns the value of number 4 is almost equal to 15 and their two 2nd rounders. I took it as pure speculation on grossi part do to are relationship with philly in the past, I don't think any talks or negotiations have taken place, it was just his opinion. But wknr kept announcing it at every news break which made it seem like there was more to it.

What about Devier Posey, he's 6-2, 210lb, and projected to be a sixth rd pick and even he may lack blazing game breaking speed, he seemed to always find a way to get open, atleast at the college level. He's good at making adjustments, and going after the ball and he's not afaid of makeing the tough catches in traffic. If you look at the dropoff in the OSU passing game last year some of which was miller trying to adjust to the college game, but some of it was because posey wasn't there. If you look at who was throwing to him in his career, pryor was a great athlete, but he wasn't the most accurate passer, he seemed to throw the ball up for his receivers to go get, and posey was his number 1 guy. With 13 picks in the draft, and depending on who we've taken, and what we still need, he might be worth a good look in the sixth round.

To make teams think before they just kick it into or through the endzone they should have touckbacks come out to the 25 or even the 30 yard line to make it a little more fair. Most if not all NFL kickers can put it into or through the endzone with the new rule, this would make them have to decide if strategically if that is the best option. It would definitely make it a little more interesting, and create more opportunitys for returns. Ofcourse this probably won't happen because of the safety issues that made the league feel they had to change the rule in the first place.

04 has 4 very good players who if things go right for their teams can atleast contend for a superbowl berth and 2 already have won atleast one. I think Rivers defently has a shot and I wouldn't be surprised to see Schaub make it to one if they can put it all together. I'm not saying its a definite but I think he has a shot. If that happens and Manning and Rapistburger excel enough to make to the HOF, and one of the other 2 get in also witch Rivers would have to show he deserves that, you could make a case that it would be the best QB class in history even over 83. Not saying all this will happen and even if it does that they are better, but it would atleast have to be considered.

I remember reading a article not to long ago where Colt said he felt some fatigue towards the end of the year because is arm was still not at 100% after the injury he got from the hit by Dareus in the bowl game, and that his arm was 100% now and feeling stronger. Even though he can't work with the teams strength coach because of the lockout I can almost guarantee he's hired someone to help strengthen his arm. Add that to his determination to be successful as a NFL QB and I think he will be be just fine when the weather get bad. Hopefully

It's good to hear his arm is feeling better I wonder how much fatigue played into his problems throwing late last year.

I've been looking for a list of who is left but a few names off the top of my head would be

Stanzi Holgrem likes to take a qb every year I think he could be a good backup behind mccoy.

Chekwa I thought he was pretty good for the buckeyes and could be a still in this part of the draft.

Dion Lewis would be a good change of pace back

Mathews saw some video on him earlier looked like he played with hart and that's what this team needs more of.

Is Edmund Gates still available

If anyone can find a list of who's left please post it.

I would love it if we could get a top ten pick in the second and still get Jones who I think we should take anyway if both Green and Peterson are gone

Yep, no matter what, you can bet beer prices at the stadium go up another quarter, ticket prices go up $5, etc. You can also bet there are people like me who will go down & fill the stadium because we love our football, it's our outlet from day-to-day stuff.

The players aren't perfect, and their rep is a buffoon, but remember, the owners piled up a huge war chest to fight this crap & win. It's amazing to me that both sides know the vast majority of Americans are just getting by on median wages, and they don't see the ridiculousness of their own fight.

Yep this was my thinking when I posted this is that neither side can come to grips with reality long enough to realize how good they got it. Most people are living paycheck to paycheck out here and they can't agree on how to split $9 billion. I understand the players want what they feel they deserve, but what about what the fans deserve for being loyal enough to spend are hard earned money on overpriced memorabilia, tickets and stadium food just so we can root for are favorite team on Sunday. We deserve that outlet to be able to escape the reality of life for a few hours once a week in the fall months. I just hope this gets resolved soon because as much as I hate to see the summer end I can't wait to watch some football.

In the real world when dealing with union contracts usually the employees work under the old contract until there is a new one in place. Most company's do whatever they can to make sure there isn't a work stoppage because all that does is make their business lose money. In fact employees usually can use a strike as leverage to get a deal done. I don't understand why the NFL contract situation is handled so differently that the owners are actually forcing a work stoppage in the form of a lockout. This not only hurts the owners, but it hurts the players, the fans and is really bad for football period. I don't see why they don't just work under the old contract so the fans don't have to keep hearing about how there is not going to be a season because these millionaires and billionaires (who have lost touch with reality so much they fail to realize how fortunate they are to not only have to worry about this economy but getting rich doing something they enjoy) can't come to terms of how to split there 9 million dollar empire that the blue collar, hardworking fanbase pays for. I say forget this lockout crap and get back to what got these people were they are in the first place, and that's let the players and teams get ready to do their thing and work on the contract as time goes on. Who knows take away the deadlines, and pressure of having to get the deal done, mabe it gets done sooner. I know I'm dreaming I just think its gotten out of hand.

The other day I watched a few hilight reels of both green and Jones and was impressed by both of them. Green definitely is the better pure prototypical receiver. He's got great hands, speed, athletacism and smoothness to be a great wr in this league. He seems to have a real nose for the ball and seems to have a knack for getting yac's which is important for a wco receiver with all the quick hit routes they run. But if he isn't there I wouldn't be hesitant at all to take Jones if heckert really wants to go wr. He might not have as good of hands as green, but one thing I noticed is he never seems to go down on first contact, and with his strength and speed it can be a big play every time he touches the ball. He might even be a better wco wr than green. I mean can you imagine mccoy hitting him on a on a slant going full speed and colt puting it right on the money, Jones has the ability to run over people and break tackle to turn it into a big gain. I'm not saying I want him over green but his style of play might fit our wco better than greens does. I'm also not totally sold on going wr with all the help we need on D and the talent that should be available. I just hope we get a difference making player in a position of need with are picks. Hopefully H&H can make the right choices to get us back to the glory days. GO BROWNS!!!!!!!
