I read this somewhere else but I feel like it needs to be repeated:
It is staggering how much better of a professional sports franchise the Guardians are than the Browns, ESPECIALLY considering the competitive disadvantage the Gs have as a natural fact of doing business in a small market in the MLB. If the Guardians were as poorly-run as the Browns are, they would go 50-112 every year.

Game 5 - CLE at Oak - 9:40 EDST - Plesac ~versus ~ Kaprielian
Well I turned the game back on in the 8rh inning and and the Guardians score 3 more following an A's defensive miscues and some good Guardians baserunning so it's now GUARDIANS 10 A's 8 still bottom of the 8th.
Now Guardians 10 A's 8...... top 9. *WELL THE GUARDIANS HAVE JUST WON THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE GAME IN EXRTA INNINGS AND ARE NOW 4-1. HOW ABOUT THAT !
-
Game 6 - 9:40 pm EDST - Probable Pitchers Bieber. RHP. #57. .00 ERA. 3 K. -versus- Sears LHP #38. 0-0 ERA. 0 K
︎~~~~~> So get ready to ︎~ PLAY BALL ~>
︎~︎~︎~︎~> >~︎~︎~︎~>
Well I did catch the end of this one a 3-3 game in the last few innings -but- the A's got the 9th inning walk-off win ends the Guardians 4 game win streak A's win it 4-3.
◆ See you Wednesday 3:37 pm EDST for the series win and go 5-2 so far in 2023.

"People will come Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come."

Damn I missed a helluva comeback win today!
I watched innings 6 through 9 plus 10, 11, 12 while eating our Sunday ham and scalloped potatoes and artichokes plus my wife's homemade chocolate brownies ..... OMG I'm going to watch that I don't put on weight.
Oh the game, we were screaming win or lose already ! But it was a fantastic finish !
