I don’t know man something is off this year.
Beyond the personnel issues we have a Catcher in AAA that could help us a lot…and we need an actual hitting CF…his glove is good but if you are struggling for offense we need a bat there.
We have no energy. Pre-game looked like a funeral. Jose doesn’t move well in the field. He gave zero effort on a couple ground balls yesterday. I did some people watching yesterday… Something is up with Gimenez. The INF doesn’t acknowledge him or talk to him between innings…it is strange.

Mike Zunino, brought in this offseason in hopes he could give the catcher position some pop, has been designated for assignment. He never got going after missing a huge chunk of last season at bat or behind the plate.
Top prospect Bo Naylor - Josh's brother - has been called up from Columbus to take his spot. I'm guessing he will share time at catcher at first.
