Aside from the tackles being out…can we state the obvious…not to talk about next year just 30 minutes into the season …but let’s get these guys some work in a preseason game?

Dutch Oven

Our defense is going to be absolutely gassed by the middle of the 3rd.

Are you serious?

A 57 yarder?

tiamat63

That's a hell of a kick.

Axe

41 yds of offense

jiggins7919

41 yards btw.

SdBacker80

Just keep everyone healthy at this point. We clearly aren’t ready for week 1

It's early in the season, but still, Browns Stadium isn't known for being the easiest place to kick long field goals.

Dallas looks good on all three phases.

And a 3rd, and a 4th.

Can't run block, can't pass block.

Gonna be a long day unless some miraculous halftime adjustments are made.

Meanwhile the last time i looked LAD 2 CLE 0 bottom 6th ... In the rubber match. 103° at gametime.

A beautiful fall day here in BOARDMAN, OH, 67° now .... so nice. 35% humidity. 11 mph wind.

..... now back to football, OH-NO. an. INT. The # 1 D under fire.

Dutch Oven

Oh, and we keep having penalties at the worst possible time.

Axe

fuck me

jiggins7919

Yep, I'm out.

Dutch Oven

I'm not sure completely refusing to block Micah Parsons is a sound idea.

I mean, THERE WAS NO ONE WITHIN FIVE YARDS OF HIM. ?

When they send a zero pressure, you tend to unblock the edge. The interior is the quickest way to the QB, meaning the extra rusher has to be accounted for and handled by the QB. It was, it's just Micah made an incredibly amazing play.

jrb12711

That play was designed to let parsons be unblocked. Let that one sink in, wild.

meanwhile Mayfield is dominating another game in Tampa. Call me an old fool, the browns sold their soul and karma and this is the penance.

Dutch Oven

Kept hearing rumors from Training Camp that this "new offense" looked really unremarkable.

Having your Tackle situation being what it is doesn't help, but....
