  •   So, this year, we were busy doing stuff, and I let the computer pick my teams. My Phil Dawson league team is predicted to win the league.

My other team in the Otto Graham league, is predicted to finish last. lol

2 and 0, this second game, Phil Dawson league,  went like:

    https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/150943/recap?week=2&mid1=5&mid2=3

I'm trying to trade Warren, a steeler, off my team. I will consider any legit trade. At least the computer didn't pick a ratbird on either team.

And in the Otto Graham league, I sqeaked out a second win. But I may still end up in last place. I hate that. lol

  • i have conner as well,my other RB's are Barkley,Achane,Dobbins and i just picked up Royce Freeman(a new Browns addition)

in our leagues, there aren't a lot of viable pickups on the waiver wire. Nice pickup on Freeman. Big mistake by Dallas, I think. I wasn't watching and missed it.

  • I messed up - I read where MIke Evans was struggling a bit, and Jaylen Hurts was getting a bit more points....

so I left Hurts in as my qb, and replaced Evans with Odunze. who was supposed to get 11 points.

    he got 2 points.

and I had Baker, but kept Hurts?

Baker would have gotten me 32 points, and Evans would have gotten me 23.4 points.

I may not win. Don't know what the heck happened to the Eagles defense.

    dammit.

I hope somebody ? throws td's to Tyreek Hill.

  • Thanks to King Henry's 209 yds & 2 TDs, I won our FFL this week. That and the interception in the endzone against Seattle late 4th Q on MNF. Two guys were just yards away from beating me with two different Seattle players. I finally breathed after holding it in the last 5 minutes (well maybe some Lamaze puffs).?‍?

  • I still can't believe I didn't play Mayfield and Evans last week. Still won the game, though.

    dammit.

Mayfield throws for 347 yards and two TDs vs. PHI

Baker Mayfield completed 30-of-47 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns in the Bucs’ 33-16, Week 4 win over the Eagles, adding four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown.
Advice: Mayfield and the offense entered this game on a cold streak. They scored seven points in a blowout loss to the Broncos last week and put up 20 points in a low-scoring win over the Lions two weeks ago. Mayfield turned things around in short order versus Philly, finding the end zone on three of his first four drives. He threw two touchdowns and capped the scoring bonanza with a read-option keeper at the goal line for another score. The Bucs slowed down in the second half but were never threatened by a toothless Eagles offense. Mayfield will look to keep this momentum going as a high-end QB2 in Week 5 versus the Falcons.

Well I hope you played Evans and Mayfield. No one in our league has Mayfield, but I sure played Mike Evans again. So far 2 TDs with a Q to go. And Yep, I'm playing Henry again for sure this weekend.

  • So, Devante Adams was questionable, so I picked up

    and played him.

Got me 28 points tonight. That is in the BB Otto Graham league.

In our Phil Dawson BB league:

I actually picked up Baker Mayfield on waivers after the draft -

and this time I wised up and played him and Evans.

Baker was said to get me 19.40 points, but he got 29.40. The Bucs did lose, though.

    and Evans

was predicted to have gotten me 12.96 points, but he got me 23.20.

    Fantasy football is crazy.

Oh, and Baker's QB rating was 137.5.

And Darrell Moony got me 31.5 points in that game.

You have to get lucky if you don't want to end up in last place when the computer says
your draft was a D- and you'll end up in last place. lol

Yeah, mine gave me a bad rating too, but I understood what Henry would become with the Ravens, the best running back and highest FFL scorer after the first 4 games. I also got Evans, RB Cook of Buffalo, Mahomes, Justin Tucker and the SF Defense. And I have Chubb, who had a very bad rating, for my mid-season hope. Currently overall my worst rated team (out of 8 players) is 3rd only 6 points behind # 2 (1790 vs 1784 total). We have a different scoring system than yours. Oh yeah, and throw in C. Kirk and G. Kittle plus QB Richardson. I still don't see what the computer saw in rating me a D.

You know I'm not aiming this at you.  Who has Mike Evans and let's yahoo decide that you better bench him every week only to be surprised he keeps outscoring their projected points for him by about 10-12 points?  They base all their projections off the previous year during the 1st month or so.  Mike Evans made Johnny Manziel look like he prioritized football before he made Baker Mayfield look like the 1st round QB (Carolina hoped they were going to get).  And, if you've played FF long enough - it's not uncommon to see last year's heroes turn into this year's zeros or vice versa. Sam Darnold would be a good example of vice versa.

If someone lets Yahoo draft both of their teams and uses their projected scoring system for their entire starting lineup each week - they are depriving themselves of the opportunity to have fun with the competition of it all.  Different strokes for different folks.

That's why I love drafting my own and don't rely on some computerized system. My brain told me adding a back like Henry to an outside runner like Jackson would make them both supreme running threats behind that great offensive line. You can't stop them both and Jackson is a wizard in reading his options. And I knew sooner rather than later Baker would figure out what a great receiver he has who is known to be more than able to bail out a QB in trouble if you just make it a tossup between the former basketball player and any DB. He boxes out and takes it away. Plus, like K. Hunt, he smells end zones.

  • Vikings last position (i have their D) I was yelling to just run the clock out, Well they didnt and the fucking jets scored

  • F ing Vikings D same as last week. Look great in the first half and let the other team back in, In the second

  • My super star wr Malik Nabers is out with a concussion, so I had to pick up another wr that I hope will do the job - Jacoby Myers LV

  • I just picked up, Philly's D

  • SO, halfway through the regular season, after 8 games....

usually my goal is to not come in last. lol.

This season, I've been lucky. Except for injures.
