Sanders Falling, Dart Rising?

Yeah, I never thought that Watson was going to be a team leader in anything except passing stats. But the success of the organization is based on Wins & Losses...not whether the woman's auxiliary likes your QB or not. The plan wasn't for Watson to fall flat on his face. And remember, two teams after us gave up on Baker in very short order. We weren't the only ones to see him as expendable.
Kind of. One of them was Carolina who gave up on Darnold too as well as benching 1st overall pick Bryce Young; so they blamed the QBs for their inability to field a good team around the QB. The Rams already invested very heavily in Matthew Stafford so they weren't going to cut him for Cheese Cakes. Both parties saw Baker in LA as an audition for after Stafford gets healthy again. Right on cue, it became the experience that interested Tampa in him. Today, he's throwing over 40 TD passes and leading the Bucs to the playoffs in 2 consecutive seasons.
Moving forward, we're under 2 weeks til the draft. What are you thinking for the 1st 2 rounds?

Me too! And I kind of like that.
Two sides to that: 1) the suspense, anticipation, like not knowing the prebirth gender of your grandchild.
2) worried about what jackass move they'll make because you've lost faith in their abilities as draft evaluators, that they're on thin ice regarding their jobs and like a wounded animal, might do anything from totally crazy to sane.

I hear ya. ? Hard to believe option 2 is a lot more promising than my 401K today.

Literally any player chosen fills a need.
Should make for an interesting Draft Weekend!
(But I just realized a week or so ago that I got tickets to see JIm Gaffigan at Playhouse Square, so I'll miss a good chunk of Day 3. Such a pity.)
Yes indeed! Jim Gaffigan should be fun. Usually day 3 gets away from who is being drafted with all these side stories; and then they catch you up as quick as they can on the last 5 or 6 guys drafted. Of course, Rich Eisen has to remind us he's a huge Michigan fan quite a few times throughout the day. Then he's going to run his 40 yard dash as fast as any sloth in the world can for a good cause at least.

I'm scheduled for band rehearsal on the Thursday night. Of course that hasn't been an issue over the last few years. ?

I don't know. It seems to me the superstars have shows. The others have gigs.
I am not putting you down. Only you know which category your band belongs.
You're right. I'd be a 'gigger' ? 50+ years ago when I played in the accordion studio's 40 pc accordion band, we played shows. Around 1969ish we toured Portugal for 18 days sight seeing and playing shows to packed halls. At one venue they had speakers outside for the people that couldn't get in. The audience dressed eloquently, every man was in a suite. We dressed in black tux's and hot pink gowns. Audiences were very quiet and respectful and applauded in appreciation after every song. But in a beautiful concert hall in Lisbon, at the end of Ave' Maria, you could hear a pin drop...and then the audience erupted in applause...and people were yelling something. Our teacher/conductor seemed surprised. Neither he nor the chaperones could interpret what they were yelling. We found out a couple of days later that the translation was similar to Bravo! - was a great fun trip, 2 islands and then Lisboa.

They were yelling “Freebird” in Portuguese.

Research shows that 85% of job interviews are about charm, chemistry, connection and perceived social ability as much as they are about actual skills.
Sanders has ability and does belong. But it speaks volumes that his tape his better than Darts yet still dropped far below him. Attitude is everything.

Anyone find the tweet from 2018 by coach prime saying Shadeur would do an eli manning and never play for the Browns.
Lol.
