His post didn’t indicate he was questioning its legitimacy either, so yeah your mistake.

Ive never been contacted by a pollster, so when these polls came up I used to ask myself the same question.

    Alright man.

    "I'm just asking questions"

    Got it

You mentioned the possibility of making a mistake, and now you’ve changed your mind?

    Now that is adorable.

Firstly, an unfavorable view of Israel does not mean that Israel has done anything wrong.

Secondly, those with an unfavorable view of Israel have typically accepted Palestinian Arab falsehood propaganda against Israel, without first verifying if the allegations made against Israel are valid or not.
When are allegations against Israel not valid? When the allegations are asserted devoid of any objective evidence.

Thirdly, the survey does make it clear that views on Israel are different between Democrats and Republicans.

    - - - - Start of extract from above Survey: - - - -

'Democrats are much more likely to express unfavorable opinions of Israel than Republicans (69% vs. 37%). In 2022, 53% of Democrats and 27% of Republicans had negative views of Israel. '

I have posted to a different website all the main "Palestinian" Arab falsehood-propaganda against Israel, together with a brief rebuttal.
Anyone can use my first post to that Thread to search any specific allegation about which they are concerned, and see a brief answer to it.
Last time I looked at that thread, it had about 26,000 views (and for one year of that Thread's existence, the website's View-counter had been disabled).
I'm happy to link it, but I'm not sure if doing that would be against this website's rules.

The following is a copy of just one example-section from that Thread:

    - - - - Start of copy extract: - - - -
    The Jews / Israel:
2.3) Were “given” the land: by the Allies following WW2 / by the United Nations, because of the Holocaust:

The Jews were not “given” any land. The WW2 Allies did NOT re-establish Israel.
The United Nations proposed a Partition Plan (two-state solution) under resolution 181, but while accepted by the then Palestinian Jewish Community it takes both parties to constitute any agreement. Instead, in 1947 to 1948 the Arabs started a civil war not only to oppose and instead take ALL the land of Israel, but also to ethnically-cleanse or murder the Jews. The more the Arabs persisted in attacking the Jewish community, the more militarized the previously peaceful Jewish community became, resulting in a force capable of defending a new state.

Israel was Re-established not because of the Holocaust, but because the land of Israel is the ancestral-homeland of the Jewish people - See links for: “Demographic history” and for the Hasmonean kingdom in 2.1) above.

    FY56, you asked:
"from where is the anti Israeli propaganda obtained?":
An Internet search gains returns of example falsehood assertions about Israel and the Jewish people, but essentially the answer is: from about 8 years experience rebutting Palestinian Arab falsehood propaganda on the now defunct Yahoo Answers, and from researching for that debunking, which tended also to reveal how prevalent are particular examples of the falsehood-propaganda.

Its also quite easy for anyone to see the difference between genuine-criticism and anti-Israel/anti-Semitic falsehood:
Palestinian Arab falsehood against Israel is characterized by being asserted devoid of any objective evidence in support!

' "Much of that change was driven by Democrats, 35 percent of whom sympathized with the Palestinians in the latest poll, compared to 27 percent in the late January survey. Indeed, 60 percent of Republicans in the latest survey said they sympathized more with Israelis — about the same share as in January. Sixty-seven percent of Republicans also said Trump’s support for Israel in the Israel-Hamas war has been “about right,” signalling they approve of his approach so far. In comparison, 12 percent of Democrats and 25 percent of independents said the same — with larger shares saying Trump has been “too supportive of Israel.” '

Another example of cal posting a link and not reading it. Or maybe you did and you just can't follow along. Maybe you need some right wing blogger on red state feeding you propaganda every other sentence. Either way, this doesn't support you near as much as you think, as it shows building views critical of Trump and Israel, and references polls two months older than what I posted above.

Arguing with you about math and Israel is a bad combination, too of your weaknesses, so this obviously isn't going anywhere.

A growing share of Americans are souring on Israel and their continued genocide of Palestinians. You can want that not to be true, but the polls and data are clear.

Your immediate response was to poke at the legitimacy of polls. And, historically, the right wingers on this board have attacked the credibility of any poll they don't like since 2016.

If you aren't attacking the accuracy of the poll, and you recognize the legitimacy of the results, then my mistake. But your first post was not giving that indication

Poor innocent Israel has never done anything wrong. Riiiiiight

Regardless, this thread is on the public opinion of Israel souring. Getting you to understand the reality of the history in the region isn't anything I'm looking to do. It won't happen.

Must be in church celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.

  • I’ll admit l see the middle east as a rough and tumble place and l get the impression that to survive there you sometimes have to be the bigger asshole. I would wager Israel has been the bigger asshole at times.

I’m sure more invested parties are keeping score. Everyone else does their best to log who killed innocent kids any given day. It’s all super ugly.

I could see how American views on Israel could take a downturn. In an ugly situation people tend to side with whoever they like best, and historically that would be the Israelis. But as America keeps evolving with more and more non-Bible based religion people filling our ranks, sympathies may start to slide the other way.

This is a little dramatic hammertime. It’s still just a football sub forum here man.

he's afraid of every issue - runs and hides behind wise cracks insults, change of subjects, and feels like he's "somebody special" when he spouts off anti-common sense narratives about everything.

He's coward, a big chicken, and lays an egg in every discussion.

If they did, intentional or unintentional, too fucking bad. It’s  a war. One that they didn’t start.

Oh but those poor goat fucking brown people. If those animals lay down their weapons there will be peace, if Israel lays down its weapons they face annihilation.

Now that gem really made  me LOL for real!

When you get to understand that tenets of Hamas profess that there is no compromise with Israel, that Israel has no right to exist. That the only resolution is its utter destruction, you will then understand that there is no point in enlightening us with your brand of knowledge pertaining to Middle East history.

Ungrateful little prick. This board is the only attention you ever get.

Must have stifled Woody. No reaction.

And from where is the anti Israeli propaganda obtained?

Much of it from social media would be my guess, but according to Woody the only time you can have confidence in social media information is when it’s spewing anti Israeli stuff.

Hahaha, yeah I'm not trying to engage to AI account. I'll leave that to you geniuses.

And you're never going to recognize the IDF propaganda you consume. Not convincing you otherwise

Well that’s not a legitimate question  because I didn’t know what IDF was until I looked it up.
Interesting site. So you think it’s all propaganda?

Why do I even ask. Lol

The site? What the hell are you talking about?

IDF is the "Israeli Defense Force". It's their military. The point being it's propaganda by limiting what news makes it out of the region and into the Western world

We've seen posters on here frothing at the mouth to attack Palestine and repeat the lies they were fed. It clearly works, whether you believe it or not.
