The Browns were never going to put him in an ideal situation similar to what he walked into in Tampa. Here's the thing as we look at Jimmy's business today: No WR worth a shit, No OT worth a shit.
Tampa has the following WRs: Mike Evans, Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Lalen McMillan, etc. At OT Tristan Wirfs has made Pro Bowls at RT & LT - Cleveland's plan at OT was stick with Injured Reserve at LT and the oft-injured Conklin at RT.
Good for Baker. I always rooted for him when he was here so I'm happy to see him be what he can be...

Yeah , It helps when you have guys who consistently catch the ball.. So far... Jerry Jeudy has been a huge disappointment and Ced Tillman is not having the breakout year one would expect from a young WR.. Bond looks frail to me... Not sure how long hes gonna last... I would like to see more wheel routes with Judkins and Sampson... I actually believe had "Dumbell" used that strategy in the 4th qtr... We wouldve won.. But "Dumbell" went all Marty ball and played not to lose..

To me, it doesn't do any good to rehash the Why Did We Trade Baker thing. Everyone has stated their like or dislike of the trade.
Now, if ya wanna have a thread to that encompasses ALL of the bad player moves that the team has made, Warfield, Phipps, Kosar to Todd Philcox, etc. then perhaps people would go there and depress themselves about all of the history.
And 'Haters'? Those of us that weren't happy that Baker was our QB didn't hate him. Manziel, we hated. Watson was/is hated by some. But Baker wasn't.

As much as I hate how things have turned out.. My biggest concern is the current state of the franchise that looks incredibly inept.. I like Gabriel but do not think he's the solution to the problem.. Shadoodoo looks even less promising and there's just too much drama surrounding him with the cultist nut huggers that genuflect to him..... When I look at Shadeur... I see Tim Tebow... Except Tebow actually won something.. All I see from Shadeur is a big circus unfolding... A loudmouth Daddy.. And a coach of a team who consistently shoves his own head up his ass.. As far as the future goes... I'm leaning toward drafting Carson Beck or Cade Klubnik.. I would like to see Kevin replaced with a real disciplinarian.. I think Jim Schwartz could be that guy. But I would be willing to look at Jon Gruden as a possible replacement.. Only from the standpoint he grew up in this area.. Has won a championship with Brad fucking Johnson at QB.. And understands the rivalry and passion in this town.. But the other problem is Jimmy meddling at every turn to thwart any momentum with this team.. First thing I would do is get rid of moneyball followed by Kevin.... I would entertain giving Berry another year without Moneyball in the way... I mean Kevin was forced on him..

2) Near where I live is held the longest running 4th of July parade in the country. Many years back, when I used to attend, when the Vietnam Vets would come by, people would BOOO. I felt so ashamed. The thing is, the people were booing the war....but the leaders that had us IN the war were not in the parade...it was the soldiers. They really didn't mean to be degrading the soldier vets who had done their duty to the country. They just weren't thinking beyond the end of their nose. A few would yell out, DON'T BOO THE VETERANS! At which point it would sink in...and the booing would cease.

Jon Gruden is a name I haven't heard in a while. I don't hate the idea - he's been successful. The biggest irony is Gruden won the Super Bowl Championship with the team Tony Dungy built against the Raiders team he built. TB's defense had 5 turnovers that day including 3 INTs for TDs in a 48-21 win over the offensive personnel he hand selected.

From what I understand, it's the pen pushers affecting AAA titles more than anything. I don't game like I used to.
But I saw Battlefield 6 was coming out and got the itch to play something again.
Tell them to fix the bullshit in Madden and I'd come back to play for the first time in 8 years.
