Rumor: Browns to Play First Game in Paris

Well, boo.
It will be interesting to see if there's any support in Paris for the NFL.
The people there are mainly snobby & arrogant. They like American money but don't like Americans.

Yes I have been to France once... They pretty much live in their own bubble... Spaniards can be obnoxious too...
Try using a little common sense and take a free on-line course in their language. Only takes a couple of months and even stumbling through you get treated totally differently. It takes me about 3-4 days to get back somewhat fluently when I go to Spain. But when I humbly ask for help and for meanings/corrections of words, the whole attitude changes to one of not only acceptance, but of assistance and appreciation that an American is trying his best. Same for my wife with her high school French in France. Oddly enough I can read & understand French with my Spanish and English background, just don't quite pronounce it like my wife can. And I did the Italian BBC free course on line before going to Italy and was passable there. One last tip. It helps immensely to compliment the best things you see about their country even if you stumble through the compliment.

Normally I'd agree. Now in my brief time there (3 nights back in 2013) the vendors and hotel personnel were fine, the general public were rude. Truly an unwelcoming population IMHO.

I could care less about their language and french food is horrible and vastly overrated.. I'm not gonna waste 2 months of my life just to appease a bunch of snobs..
They wrote the perfect book for you, "The Ugly American"! LOL!?

New York City is about as linguistically diverse as it gets so it is hard to hammer on someone that doesn’t speak English, Spanish, French, Farsi, etc. I believe they are more tolerant to tourists because NYC is made of people going to work in the city or people visiting as tourists (probably predominantly made up of tourists).
I experience the same thing in San Diego. I laugh because SD natives talk about how they have “midwestern friendliness”. Yeah right - do you stop and change a tire besides the one time where fake boobs had a blow out on the road? Do you invite your neighbor over for dinner? Do you have block parties?
Do you know where your neighbor works, etc.? Very surface level interaction. We are made up of more residents than tourists though…I don’t mind the repeated “tourists” questions I hate the way they drive and I hate that it is next to impossible to do a staycation here for lack of availability during peak seasons other than that it is all good.
When they were here …I could never root for the Chargers. The fans were so fair weather and unsupportive half the time. Very few diehards -

Tbh there aren’t many French people left in Paris. It’s more like a city in Africa now.
Kinda like London with the Middle East thrown in then too??
Fortunately I sometimes get to use my Spanish with our friends here from the south once they realize I'm not turning them in to ICE (Gestapo 2.0).

Unfortunately yes. All major cities in the UK contain Islamic ghettos now.
I really don’t know how it can end well

Do you blame them? ?
Here's a hint though. Let them know what an arrogant imbecile we have for a president. You'll get immediate recognition as an astute observer.?

Actually it's a very true comment which fared very well in England this past fall. It's good advice for anyone visiting Europe. Most Americans have no idea how disparaging our NATO allies are of Dear Leader all the way down to the common person on the street. And believe me they want to know where you stand.

Not only that but the comments made and the first thing that comes to mind are democrats.
“The people are mainly snobby & arrogant. “
“Islamic ghettos”
“A bunch of snobs”
”The Ugly American”
”Arrogant imbecile”
“They need perfume to cover their funk”

Nothing more adorable than seeing a Veteran that fought for this country on foreign soil making Gorka nervous.

Israel seems to be the only country with gumption to keep their original ethnicity, and obliterate, dare say h word others, to retain their culture.
Europe is definitely a mix of Africa and Asia (FIFA Middle East).

If it's the Browns vs the Saints he's not interested. If TJ Watt is playing in Paris - he'll be there... He's got a school girl crush on that guy.

Bot just saw Tina Goncalves, try to figure out a mass shooting in Rhode Island,,,, maybe she should have studied stabbings in Idaho with some European blonde bimbos? No bot real. White Christmas under attack, but live in your blissful Browns Cleveland winning fantasy world as populations dwindle, especially Cleveland’s and Ohio’s. Want to meet me at E.55th and central right now? You don’t have to wear your shades…..
Happy Kwanzaa. Ramadan bots do know how to use computers also, not just riding their camels in a desert or in their hidden caves.

Ps did we just hire Byron Storer? Ehhh. It can’t get worse if you’re from Cleveland.

West Sider here--the only places I feel are truly dicey on the West Side now are the area near Denison from West to W 73rd, and deep in the Stockyards along Storer, and honorable mention to Madison between W 65th and W 85th at night. I've heard Brooklyn Centre can be rough, but I haven't been there often enough to know if that's still true. But I don't roll through those red lights. I can't think of anywhere on this side of town that I (petite white woman) wouldn't at least drive through now that I've lived here and know the area. West Eighties especially has really cleaned up over the last few years.
And that doesn't mean all those areas are really safe--plenty of gunshots where I currently live, for instance--just that I know the city well enough to know when things don't feel right. It seems like most of the crime around here is either petty or very violent BUT very targeted, so I rarely worry about our house being broken into or being mugged/assaulted as I walk around.
