They will create more gov programs to buy more votes.

It's like farmers. They want to make all family members who drive a farm vehicle, even IF THEY ONLY DRIVE IT ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY, get a CDL license.

And recertification every two years. And they can raise those fees. And force inspections. And raise fines. Then they can make a new gov program to enforce it all

under the Dept of Agriculture. Then they can require training, and they can charge $$$ to attend the required training. Then they can know everybody to hope they

can get them unionized, then they can buy off alegiance to the Dems like with the NEA, SEIU, and the list goes on and on.

It's about politics. It isn't about money. Gate and Buffet and the rest are welcome to give even 75% percent of their money every year if they want, to help pay down the debt.

But like I said, it would just be spent for more votes, more entitlements, especailly for illegsls...no, wait, that is also for more votes.....

The spending is absolutely UNSUSTAINABLE if if you DO raise the taxes on the hated, filthy rich.

Say, those NFL and Basketball stars who get 60 and 100 million dollar contracts... why not bash them and make them pay out the nose in taxes?

Because that wouldn't be popular, and would step on fans' toes, and that wouldn't buy votes.

I'm not a doctor. But wouldn't that be an option for parents to do, that optionally would be covered by their

insurance, in return for a higher premium?

If you are an older couple, in your eighties, why the bleep would you have to pay for

a global provision like that?

Why not bring abortion into it? Why is the left so insistent on paying for abortions?

That is most always a completely medically unnecessary procedure.

Actually, there is the possibility of infections in that part of the body, but perhaps that's a reach.

It's a completely nominal procedure. The circumcision rates in Europe is in the teens (some countries like Spain it's only 2%, Denmark is only 1.6%) depending on region, and 14% in Canada. Seriously if you want to talk about a slightly higher risk of infection, then where does it end? Why don't we cut nearly all women's breasts off to prevent cancer.

Medicaid should NOT be paying for any nominal procedure.

If they want to have it done, then they can pay for it themselves.

the gene to be predicted to get breast cancer, DO have double surgeries,

that isn't part of this issue. Penile infections and medically necessary abortions are so rare,

We are. I was simply stating that if you advocate circumcision because a 0.5% higher chance of a urinary tract infection, then would you also advocate removing all of a woman's breast tissue when no cancer is found and her family has no history of breast cancer? Of course not!

Now, I don't favor the gov paying for all people to have circumcisions, OR abortions, Or any other medically unnecessary

procedures. It's for the individuals to take personal responsibility to buy coverage for that kind of thing.

But, abortions and circumcisions are a dominate issue.

PE, I'm really sorry to bring up religion again, but the real answer is because the Bible says it's part of a covenant. There is no benefit to being circumcised, and you lose sensitivity (thanks for deciding for me, mom and dad). The procedure is nothing more than genital mutilation, and the only reason it's still happening today is because we've been doing it for so long without asking why we're doing it.

My wife and I chose not to have our son done. I invite everyone on here to watch a video showing a helpless baby being circumcised and tell me they would still have it done to their son. We saw it and it's horrific. I don't know how anyone could make their son go through something so terrible. Who cares if he is going to remember it? I would remember the pain I put my child through.

Great post, and you're absolutely right, it's a Jewish custom, but then why do so many Americans have it done? Because they don't know why they're getting it done. Americans are mostly Christian, not Jewish. They just know that it's been going on for so long that they just decide to do it. Only recently have doctors begun speaking out against it. Good on you for choosing not to torture your child.

The housing industry is what caused this mess. The housing bubble. Now what does a store do if they have too much inventory? You reduce the price and sell it half off. I understand that there are people out there who didn't buy into the "I can own a $300,000 home while working at McDonalds" thing. There are some people who did. The banks need to reduce their inventory by selling these homes and existing foreclosed homes back to the current homeowner to refinance or sell the home at say 1/2 off. Now I would just do this for homes sitting in inventory say 1-2 years, etc.

I think some of these people need a second chance. The ones who had no control over their circumstances.

See why these fooking bankers need to do this, is because the US almost defaulted on the debt we absorbed from Fannie Fooks and Freddie Gay. $4 trillion dollars and now these fooks are making HUGE profits? Fook you. They need to be forced to do this. Yes, I know people here will say government has no reason to intervene in business, bullshit, they fooking made it their business when they helped these assholes out. Which was the right thing to do, they had no choice.

That is how you make the rich pay back. You think the government can just tax Buffit personally? No. You tax (I use that term lightly) an industry (banks, Fannie Fooks and Freddie Gay) that cannot move overseas, Real Estate. What the fook are they going to do? Pack up and go to India. Hell no.

We need to get people back to work, period. I could be off on my estimates here, but before the recession, 7% of the jobs in the US were construction related. If people are able to purchase homes, this could happen. With the reduced housing prices, real people could afford a house. Then real people could get back to work to buy those houses.

I like your efforts I disagree with your causes and a good bit of your solutions but I do agree with your intent and attempt.

First off, the housing bubble was a culmination of deficit spending and war mongering. The deficit spending was started by St Reagan, who has never been credited with the rushing America to broke. He started the fiasco. After Clinton attempted to fix the mess. Bush started a bunch of new messes. Under his regime we started two unfunded wars that cost us two trillion dollars so far! Under his realm we created incentives for corporations to move factories and profits overseas tax free which they have done in record numbers. Under his watch we created loan loss reserves minimums for banks from 10% to 1%. He decreed that everyone needed to own a home. The banks ran with those two bonehead ideas and made a loan available to anyone who could breathe to buy a house whether they could afford it or not. BOOM A HOUSING BUBBLE AND HUGE BUST destroying the majorirty of decent jobs not already sent overseas by the tax incentive to move factories overseas. Worse we lowered taxes while increasing spending to ungodly excess. So that is where we are. Further under Bush we nearly tripled the already bloated defense spending to where we are now. We have not ended the useless wars in Iraq and Afghan and defense spending about equals all of the rest of the world while we cannot beat a bunch of insurgents but do maintain 60 overseas bases

The fix. Raise taxes on the eltite. Create incentives to bring factories back to the US. Create funding for infrastructure projects. Increase the payments on SS and medicare to unlimited income. Cut defense spending in half by closing most of the overseas bases and eliminating the duplication among the services while increasing readiness and capablity Tax all Churches like any other business that is what they are in essence. Delete the vast majority of tax deductions including real estate and institute a graduated flat tax of 10% over 25K 15% over 50K 20% over 120K and 30% over 400K

The jobs would come back the factories would come back the deficit would decrease and business would expand

Trickle down economics is a proven failure..................BIG TIME....................the right not only wants to sustain but increase it..................and guarantee the USA crumbles
