Raised in Cleveland, live in New York. When my Mama saw I could get out of the twelfth grade on my own she knew I was man enough to go out on my own. What's your excuse? Do you pay rent to your Mom or just work it off by running the front desk at her beauty salon?

You are clearly being the dumb one. Look at those players in the HOF. Look at who is named Pro Bowl, look at who is named All Pro. A greater percentage of the players designated as such come from the first round of the draft....and it goes down incrementally from there a you get to players in the lower rounds.
Yes, you are going to find the exceptions. Yes you will find a Brady in the 6th round....but you will need a first rounder to find a Manning, a Rodgers, a BR, a Flacco, a Ryan, a Newton, a Freeman, a Palmer, a Rivers etc. etc. etc.
Or you could find guys like Jamarcus russel, Tim couch, ryan leaf, Alex smith, akili smith, etc etc etc

Agreed, but off topic, I still contend couch could have been good, maybe even great if he had had a team. I believe he's still the browns all time leader in completion percentage, and is the only qb in NFL history to throw more than one game winning touchdown with 0:00 on the clock. He got us to the playoffs, which hey, ill take right now. I guess well never know. Rg3 could be good too, but I think hell suffer the same fate without a team around him. I'd rather see us build the damn team.

I agree about couch. Would've been nice to have some talent around him but Cleveland is known around the league as the place where QBs go to end their careers whether they are vets or rookies

I don't mean to get into between you and Zombo....because I am sure that you are both quite capable of handling yourselves. I know Zombo is, because if you look to the left under Zombo's avatar you will notice that he is one of the originator's of this board and has almost 11,000 posts on here, whereas I note that you joined in November 2011 and have posted about 120 times.
All I am saying is that there is a little "respect your elders" aspect to this that you should be mindful of.
