You tell me where you see 7-9 wins against that schedule.. I could see us being 2-14 very easily, this could be a very lloongg year, will make the drives to Cleveland very long this winter.

3-3 in our division plus Buf, Dal, Wash, Indy, KC, Den and Oak. 10-6 (9-7 if Denver signs Manning)

  • With the number 4- don't mess around- just take Richardson if he's still there. If the Vikings get cute and take him then we're screwed but Kalil would be a nice consolation prize. We need a back in here that strikes fear into a defense but oogy boogy just makes em laugh. I want a player we can count on to be there and show up each game and that IS Trent Richardson. He has kids so I don't see him as a partying type that will be a distraction. I see him as a motivator and a leader on O once he arrives.

At 22 we need a Solid RT hmmm... that fitting TR then RT lol. Best RT if one's available or stud WR if one of those are available. We need a RT or a WR at 22. One or the other is what I'm feeling is going to be the pick. Hill/Castro/Adams/Wright

Then in the second round we need another good pick here. It's a low second so we take the BPA. I like a LB or DE possible a CB in this spot(Love Minnifield maybe here maybe in the next slot).

Third round must be Minnifield if we don't take him in the second.

Fourth Heck can use his tools and scouts to find a few more gems... here's to hoping!

    ^ Agree... no TR.

    No TR...

No RT in Rnd 1... ever.

And please get over your Minni-crush. He ain't his Daddy.

    I am keeping the faith.

    Love our D-line.

    Starters at LB are solid.

I think we have gotten lucky with some of secondary guys we brought in. Some nice surprises to go with studs Haden and Ward.

I like the depth of the emerging D-line, there's definitely a rotation emerging to keep legs fresh, but feel that we need an impact DE opposite Sheard. I still think Ingram's the guy.

Really not feeling our LB crew at all. Still not seeing a 4-3 crew there. Can't get past the belief that DQ needs to move out of the middle, if we're ever to stop the run. However, also not seeing a replacement at MLB on the roster and can't quite convince myself to pull the trigger on Kuechly in Rnd 1. Hightower might be there early in Rnd 2, but I doubt it... and I'm not sold on him either. Kendricks (Cal) is an intriguing 2nd Rnd possibility.

DB-wise... there's promise as there has been. And, yes, due to injury some players got time and developed, e.g., Young, but we're thin and long on promise. And yes, that includes our "studs". Speaking of thin, that's the DB class of 2012. Dre' Kirkpatrick is a must pick IMO.

  • You never know what will happen during a season. Who would have predicted how we did in 2007? You never know what will happen.

  • Holmgren is a pathetic old man taking money to sit on his butt and make excuses. His glory days are long gone and he's living on his past reputation.

Cant blame that in MH. Randy needs to be a bit more proactive. The guy flat out sucks!

  • I think we will have a great draft that will put us in really good position. I have a feeling that Heckert is going to trade down again. I am thinking with the Rams at 6. The Rams get the WR they need badly, and we get take Richardson at 6 and the Rams second round pick. Then we take the Best WR on the board at 22, an olineman, and a corner or LB in the second round. If we do that we could end up with 4 really good players.

If we can pull this off then I think Holmgren could be right and we do finish with at least 7 wins.

Wouldn't get a 2nd rounder to trade down to 6. We could only get a 2 or 3 if we went down to 7 or farther. This is why I'm not sold on trading down this time when Blackmon will probably be there at 4 and WR is our biggest need.

I read a lot of Rams news... The Rams won't trade up. They like Richardson and Claiborne enough, if not more than Blackmon, honestly.

In fact, its more likely they trade down because one of those two (or Blackmon) will garner interest.

    My 2 cents.

He definitely got schooled by Snead (Rams GM). Rams set a deadline and if Holmgren would have made his offer sooner RG3 would be in Cleveland. We wanted to trade with Cleveland... they had the more attractive offer if you factor in the 2012 picks.

The other thing about Holmgren; his record as a coach is impressive. His record as a GM... 40-56.

Those New York Giants who just won the super bowl?

  • even if heckert has one hell of a draft, i'm seeing the same 4 and 12.

although i've been saying all along to draft claiborne at 4 blackmon may be the move. got a sense with the free agents we DID sign that offense will be this year's philosophy of the draft.

there's something about claiborne though. if he's drafted you might as well scratch cribbs from the special teams.

take a look at these stats for claiborne:

Good. We better be, if not, this bunch needs to leave. In 3 years I could win 6-7 games, be it at Coach, GM, or President.

This is a game. It doesn't take a friggen genius to get it done.

I said pretty much did. No, he never said he promised more wins.

This is what he said. I pulled the quote from the main site. You can find it in the transcript of the Thursday PC with the season ticket holders. The blurb is titled, Holmgren: Now is the time.

“Going from 4-12 to 6-10 isn’t good enough and that’s been conveyed,” Holmgren said. “I believe we are going to be better than that. We’re going to be a lot better than that.”

Sorry man, he set the bar.

I agree with him, we do need to be better than 6-10.

Lerner selling is not our worry. Lerner MOVING, IS. And if anyone thinks it's can happen avain, then they are a simpleton.

Lerner is haintingly simular to teh owner ot the Indians in the movie Major League.

That's a scary thought, I wonder if they'll have a life size cutout of Lerner in the locker room with money bag stickers on him.
