Agree... video was mostly positive, but all the positives were built upon quickness.

But it's his size... He's small and plays small.

Daddy was small but played big.

So get him in the 3rd or the 4th. Just looking at some of the guys projected ahead and behind him, he is the best us or any team is going to get at that point in the draft at CB.

Him and Haden would be a very exciting CB tandem.

I have an inkling that Minnifield will be a mid to late 3rd Rounder... What do you guys think about taking Minnifield in the Third? I approve.

Haden, Brown, Patterson, Skrine and Minnifield... solid group there. There is no way Minnifield could be any worse than McDonald was, maybe more of an Eric Wright type CB.

3rd is too early for Chase, IMO.

After the 3 or 4, 1st/2nd round-worthy CB's in this draft the fall off is pretty sharp. I see the next "wave" starting late 4th or early 5th.

EDIT: On the other hand Aaron Craft might make a helluva DB...

            Go Buckeyes...

i've got to chime in here.

First, let me say that i've never seen Chase play and so i have no idea whether we should draft him (or whether anyone should draft him). But his papa was something special. i've said it many times here before- Frank was the best CB that i've ever seen play- period. He covered like glue. Also, he was the best tackler on the team. He never missed a tackle. He was a student of the game and seemed to enjoy teaching younger players during the game (without calling them out or embarassing them). i always thought he would end up being a coach. He was a total class act.

i hope Chase has a good career with somebody. i want to cheer for the guy, so i hope he ends up outside of our division.

Drafting a guy because Pops played for the Browns is a bad idea.

I don't think the kid is that good.

The CB class is very deep this year, easy to get lost in the shuffle.

CB's Deep? A mere three to four players deep by most accounts...

It is actually deep, just because everyone one of them isn't considered a 1st and 2nd round pick doesn't mean they are not good. Honestly I don't see a huge drop off until after Minnefield.

Take a look at this list: http://www.football.draft-hub.com/players?position=CB

Guys like Hayward, Hosley, T. Johnson, Steed, Bentley, J. Robinson and a few others all have great potential in the 2nd-5th range. Deep class.

There's about 5 guys on this board that are all over his junk and wanted to take him at 22. I've said all along he's not worthy of a pick any higher than 3 but better off for the 4th. I'm glad I'm not the only one that's against reaching for a guy just because his dad played for the Browns....

I was for drafting him where he was slotted. Last year he was considered a top 20 pick and before the season was over he was an early 2nd. The ONLY reason his stock has dropped was because he was smaller than Virgina had him listed at (most schools do that shit) and because he has been injured for most the off season and can't post any numbers other than bench press.

I find it really funny how NO stepped out and said anything negative about the kid until his stock started to drop because of offseason workouts. What I REALLY can't believe is how some people still think Burfict would be a great pick in the 4th round but think Minnifield is a bad one in the 3rd/4th.
