He needs to catch it but why should the fans shut up? If he can't handle pressure he shouldn't be out there..

It seems this guy hasn't gotten any better. The dropped passes are over the top IMO

    Agreed.

Guys like Little and Braylon Edwards make me appreciate even more what we had with Slaughter, Langhorne, Brennan and Newsome. Those guys simply did not drop passes.

Cut Little. We should be able to find a WR off the scrap heap that can catch.

  • Had a drop to day against the Bills that my 86 yo mother could've caught... and it was on a play that could have broken big.

Then catches a short out for a 1st and does his "1st down" pose...

The word clown came to mind... poser would have worked as well.

  • I'm more mad at Shurmur calling a 2 yard slant in a 2 minute drill, on 3rd down, with no timeouts than I am at Little for not catching the ball.

If anyone follows college football at all they'd know that Little was a project from the get go. He's a converted RB still learning the position, if anything we should be mad at our organization for taking the risk on such a raw player.

Gee ain't we great at drafting "projects"? High? Little, a soon to be 29 year old "project" qb. Let's not forget in the words of Bleacher Report "There are a lot of words to describe the 21-year-old Josh Gordon from Baylor: fast, athletic, big, raw, immature, risky and the most commonly used term…enigma."

Sheeze, I hope you watched enough tape on this guy that he can hold onto the ball better than Little- but that's setting the bar way low.

I'm not quite ready to throw Little under the bus just yet- but it's getting mighty close folks. I see Braylon II out there.

Other teams were laughing at us drafting a devalued position @ #3- Richardson. Well- he can't run through 5 guys on the other team. Lauvao- Pinkston- U suk.

  • At least Gordon was a WR in college. We have that going for us.

Absolutely, our guard play is fucking terrible.

maybe that's what's happening to your boy TRich. maybe he's thinking about running it without the ball in his hands yet or maybe he's thinking "hell, why even bother when this ain't the crimson tide OL in front of me...". because your boy sure as hell looks a lot like every other short wide bodied rookie who can't break a tackle for shit. sure he can bounce off people, but to be arm tackled by a CB is unacceptable for a 'BEAST'. where's the running over tacklers and dessimating the DLine with all of his thunderous HULK-ess power?

#3 pick overall? nah. hasn't shown me why yet.

back to topic: he (little) had better take note of the new owner coming in because what i heard of his in game interview he knows where this team is lacking and sounded like he knows what has to change. he said joe haden's absense on the D is a terrible loss, hinting at no depth at that position (maybe first pick next year). he applauded TR without saying he's been great, just that we have a good young talent a RB. and he noted weeden's suckiness in the first week. i'd like to hear what he thought of the browns' performance overall from top to bottom after watching another cluster fuck of play calling, missed opportunities and players inabilities to convert and do their jobs.

You should probably read into that 4 minute interview a bit more.

You're acting like this billionaire is a personnel expert.

who cares if he's a personnel expert or not. i'm sure he'll either keep heckert or find someone who thinks is better at the job.

like you dabs, he could buy and sell you twentyfold and you'd never be missed. "hey piss boy!"

    What would you have called?

Sure, it's all well and good to say "run the receivers past the first down marker", but the defense was playing off to prevent the first down from happening and it's not like our receivers know how to get any seperation.

You're going to see the short slant a lot. Shurmer is a WCO advocate, and the slant is a staple of the WCO. It's all about YAC. We had a much better chance of gaining the first down on YAC then throwing past the markers into a cover 2 shell.

  • What about running the ball on the 1st play? He called the timeouts to get the ball back and pretty much wasted the 1st play of that series.

  • He has to catch that pass. I don't believe he will amount to much. That is a play that makes or breaks you, and he just broke.

  • Braylon Edwards redux!

    Pretty much.

Make's the occasional freak catch, drops way too many easy balls and drops all the ones that really matter.
