I disagree; I do not ever recall anyone expressing outrage or a coach mentioning they have lost respect for one Myron Cope when he spoke such filth towards not only Browns squad members, but the city and citizens as well. I personnally could care less what other teams employees and / or fans say about us. Hell check out Cincitucky radio play by play and listen to Dave Lapham grunt, groan and drool all over himself during a game...it is all entertainment; folks need to wash the sand out of their vagina

Glad you brought up Myron Cope- besides being obnoxious (and if Fisher thought Bernie was being politically incorrect) Get a load of THIS: He gets also my vote as the most obnoxious radio voice I've ever heard.
Yeah., Cinitucky announcer Dave Lapham is the worst homer I've ever heard- he makes anything Bernie did look tame.
For the young 'uns I've always said Cope sounded remarkably similar to this old time "voice" of a lot of cartoon characters- Arnold Stang. Fast forward to 2:16.

Or he could just be a stone cold alcoholic, or a combination of the two. In case you haven't heard his interview on WKNR there's no way that I'm buying that his behavior in it was a case of post concussion syndrome or medication side effects. So it kind of hurts his benefit of the doubt rights.

It's because it's a national story now and the media gets ahold of it and sensationalizes it and all the PC pussies get on their fake outrage high horses.

I agree what Bernie said wasn't that horrible, but he still shouldn't have said it on a broadcast by the Browns tv network. If he said it on a radio program after the fact, then fine, but to go off like he did AS the game was going on,on the Browns TV network was wrong.
You could tell Jim Donovan was REALLY uncomfortable with what was going on, and he has been in the business way longer then Bernie.
