  • No, this isn't about concussions, but TV blackouts of NFL teams. The below article gives some in depth reasons for the 5 teams most likely to suffer blackouts this season:

    Buffalo Bills

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    San Diego Chargers

    Oakland Raiders

    Cincinnati Bengals

In most cases it seems to have to do with stadium issues. In other cases, distrust of management (Cincy), in one a non devoted/transient fan base (Tampa):

  • The NFL blackout policies rival Obamacare legislation in terms of complexity. Leafing through several paragraphs of the policy left me feeling like I was back in third grade.

Us Browns fans in SW Ohio appreciate every game the Bungles don't sell out.

  • Pretty lame of Cincy fans. They make the playoffs and they STILL have blackouts?

  • i'm on schedule to blackout again tonite, if everything falls into place like i expect it to.

nothing like a preseason, Saturday night blackout.

FWIW, prior to 1973,all games were blacked out in the home city of origin regardless of whether they were sold out. This included championship games and the Super Bowl

(sirens in my head going off) WHOOP! WHOOP!! WHOOP!!!

ok honey calling the cab now!

    EVERYBODY HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!

so at that point on my best day i was hoping the blackout would be the swame a twisty maybe double up on the Vs and no probs ....no. no. no. it was babysittin time.

On liberty in the Yokosuka Honcho. Checked in a bottle of 151 with a friend at a Japanese bar, vaguely remember him getting hauled away by Shore Patrol, then coming to walking down an alley with the bottle still in my hand and cuts all over my arms. Haven't had a drink of 151 since and that was 1979.
