The NFL blackout policies rival Obamacare legislation in terms of complexity. Leafing through several paragraphs of the policy left me feeling like I was back in third grade.

No, this isn't about concussions, but TV blackouts of NFL teams. The below article gives some in depth reasons for the 5 teams most likely to suffer blackouts this season:

          Buffalo Bills

          Tampa Bay Buccaneers

          San Diego Chargers

          Oakland Raiders

          Cincinnati Bengals

In most cases it seems to have to do with stadium issues. In other cases, distrust of management (Cincy), in one a non devoted/transient fan base (Tampa):

Pretty lame of Cincy fans. They make the playoffs and they STILL have blackouts?

nothing like a preseason, Saturday night blackout.

FWIW, prior to 1973,all games were blacked out in the home city of origin regardless of whether they were sold out. This included championship games and the Super Bowl

i was talkin about blacking out with a twisty in my hands and some chivas on the rocks.

didn't happen. the old lady swiggen down a 1.75 litre of red wine at the watering hole and she oveheard a new aquaintance of mine (an ex-russian soldier) saying"hey you don't look 52, i guarantee you that you can come hang out in queens with me and pick up better gash than that."

(sirens in my head going off) WHOOP! WHOOP!! WHOOP!!!

ok honey calling the cab now!

                  EVERYBODY HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!

so at that point on my best day i was hoping the blackout would be the swame a twisty maybe double up on the Vs and no probs ....no. no. no. it was babysittin time.

On liberty in the Yokosuka Honcho. Checked in a bottle of 151 with a friend at a Japanese bar, vaguely remember him getting hauled away by Shore Patrol, then coming to walking down an alley with the bottle still in my hand and cuts all over my arms. Haven't had a drink of 151 since and that was 1979.

"You planning on having a long relationship with that glass or are you going to drink it? Drink up, man. Maybe we can get another.” - Janis Joplin, 1970.

1979 was a very good year.

1980 was when i graduated HS and my dad said GTFO and i joined the army.

                      i've been drinking ever since.
