What Did We All Really Expect? !

If we had rode the success of the first two preseason games all the way until the last game of the season, going 15-0, and then lost the last game the same people would still be crying doom and gloom, demanding Chud, Hortons, whomever elses head in the process.
Fuck guys, new coaches, new system on both sides of the ball. I'm still calling a 8-8 season, but only because we DO have a great coaching staff and a bunch of young talent.
People care way too much about preseason...

agreed. It was a preseason game and a bad one at that. Buy we won't know who things play out yet. All I know is that we have the most talent and a decent coaching staff on our team that I've seen for years. These guys are young and will have ups and downs all season. Here's hoping for the best.

I don't think they looked 100%, and by that I mean, it was by coaches design. With the list of current injuries, why risk more?
There are some things that certainly better get fixed, and that is Weeds. He has to stop starring down his receivers and his decision making has to get better. I'm not worried yet.

Yeah Weeds just looked Sanchez like in this game. That being said Weeds also has zero weapons to throw too. If only he had the big moh back to throw too.

Your logic here is flawed. We both like the browns, and we both know (or at least i know, still unsure of your mental capacity to perceive reality) that the browns are bad for us. I mean i end up in a pool of my own tears (and vomit, the browns make me drink heavily) when they inevitably get eliminated from playoff contention each year. Sometimes babe its ok to like things that are not good for you.

Sanchez???? Sow what a douche. Imo weeden did about as Well as he could. Two bad throws i counted. Four dropped passes, Absolutly no running game, and recievers unable to create an inch of seperation.massaquoifan11 said:

12 for 25 for 110 yrds and NO TURNOVERS with that offense Ill take it. Its kinda like playing golf with a Vinci of hacks. Naturally ur game is gonna be worse. Luck made some really poor throws too. Differece was his WRs completely outplayed weedens targets. Reverse roles one time.

Patriots lost to the Lions something like 40-9. Should they pack it in, too?
It's preseason. Strange shit happens. Players sit when they'd play if it were real, etc. Horton's D went vanilla (not sure why). Joe Thomas was oddly horrible. As Weeden said, it's tough to put your finger on (except that he really can't handle pressure)... things were just "off."

Braylon Edwards was cut by the Jets today and the reason he was expendable was that they signed MoMass last week. HAHAHA. The best story of the day. LOL

I'm beginning to wonder if the Jets are going to win a game this year.

And when all is said and done. How often do the dominate teams in the NFL also dominate the preseason? Few.
