i'm in my 30's and have been following the browns since the mid 80's.....i never saw this thing, not once. Or if i have I never connected it with the browns in any way. The dog is the only mascot/emblem i've ever know. I was going to the old stadium as a kid in the 80's so I would think at some point I would have come across brownie if it was such a huge part of the team for so long.

I love the Browns and try to support tradition but I gotta say the Brownie is far from the kick ass tough logo I would like to see. I'd like to see a big vicious snarling dog with half of a Steeler hanging from his mouth

what can i say dude? my uncle was the one who introduced me to the Browns when I was 6 or 7. He obviously was around back in the day when the Browns were a power. He never once gave me "anything" with that logo on it. He was dawgpound through and through maybe that's why.

Yeah, but ... There has been all kinds of Elf logos on jackets, hats, shirts etc. Since 1999, even if it wasnt around much in the late 80s, early 90's.
Its been my avatar for at a dozen years ... No one has ever said "What's that?"

Most, if not all college and Nfl, mascots are unmanly. However, I am down with the Georgia bulldog, and the horsebacked Fla State Seminole. Tell me it doesn't jack you up when he buries that war spear into the thirty yard line. The USC Trojan is a bad mo too.
I can live with ND fighting Irish's mascot. They should provide him with a flask so he can cheer and get fucked up during the game. Brutus Buckeye, Nebraska's Little Red, The U Duck, and MSU's Spartan are 100% homo. The Colorado Buffalo is bad ass as is the Oklahoma horse and wagon. Them boys turn it loose. Tell me how you couldn't get a hard dick watching that.
The Browns have won two in a row. Why take a chance changing anything about the uni's'? I'd suspect several players wont' even wash their uni's before the Bills game.
