They have been killing each other for 1000's of years, and they are fighting over land that is about the size of Delaware?

ISIS is the real problem over there but I don't hear much about it for some reason. Like the world is turning a blind eye to it kind of like the lawless mexican drug cartels. It's reported but sort of in a ho-hum manner unlike the sensationalism of whatever Israel is up to with Hamas this time. 700 people got killed in Syria over two days. The world is seriously jacked up right now

There seems to be an isolationist viewpoint in the USA like, just let them alone, etc. That is not the way it works. We have historically helped Israel because of the Holocaust. We can't turn a blind eye on world events because sooner or later it will bite us in the ass. The world is a much smaller place now, and we have enemies that would love to destroy us. Whether you believe it or not is up to you.
