I don't pretend to understand their fight................................... But why does the USA care?????????????

They have been killing each other for 1000's of years, and they are fighting over land that is about the size of Delaware?

Why can't we just let them kill each other?

ISIS is the real problem over there but I don't hear much about it for some reason. Like the world is turning a blind eye to it kind of like the lawless mexican drug cartels. It's reported but sort of in a ho-hum manner unlike the sensationalism of whatever Israel is up to with Hamas this time. 700 people got killed in Syria over two days. The world is seriously jacked up right now

Again, why does the USA care?

Why are we the worlds police?

Are you saying "Religion" is the cause for all this?

The Cysko Kid

I'm saying they're chasing all the Christians out and burning ancient churches down.

So Religion it is

The Cysko Kid

Yeah for a terror group persecuting other people on a strictly religious platform I'd say it has a lot to do with it

There seems to be an isolationist viewpoint in the USA like, just let them alone, etc. That is not the way it works. We have historically helped Israel because of the Holocaust. We can't turn a blind eye on world events because sooner or later it will bite us in the ass. The world is a much smaller place now, and we have enemies that would love to destroy us. Whether you believe it or not is up to you.

if there was oil involved we would be less involved......believe me.

and yes religion is and has been the cause of more war and death in the history of mankind.
