  • I think it's safe to say that members of any group that includes a bad section, such as Muslims in general and insane jihadis, Irish Catholics and IRA bombers, Serbians and Slobodan Milosevic troops or Southerners and Quantrill's Raiders might look upon those unsavory elements with less animosity opposition than the general public.

Not for me, anyway. I look at them with more animosity because a) they are doing something we all agree is horrible, and mostly to moderate/liberal Muslims like myself, and 😎 if that weren't bad enough, the same moderate/liberal Muslims get stereotyped for it. I generally hold them more responsible for the stereotyping than the people doing the stereotyping.

True. Of course we all understand that a cheap shot by a Pittsburgh Steeler might be a good clean it by a Cleveland Brown. I was more thinking of the times I do my Irish show and sing if you rebel songs. I personally have absolutely no animosity toward the British nor do most if any of the audience members.

Nobody gets outraged about it but if there were a Middle Eastern restaurant and the entertainer was singing about death to infidels or a black club playing kill the white man rap music...

Things get misunderstood when taken out of context? Well this is news 😉

Muslims are a very peaceful people.

In fact, the Quran says anyone who leaves the religion should be killed.

In fact you are wrong. It does not say anything at all about apostasy. You like to criticize Woody for being a know-it-all liberal but here you are spouting flat-out lies about Islam like your some kind of expert.

Yes it does. Being an apostate is the worst thing you can do in Islam. Do some research.

    Quran 3:90

    Quran 9:66

    Quran 16: 106

  • In the 1400 year history of Islam, 270 million people have been murdered over that non sense.

It promotes pedophelia (Mohammed married Aisha when she was 6 and had sexual intercourse with her while she remained pre pubscent, this fact is repeated many times Sahih Adadith)

The Quran in fact garuntees women inherit half of what a man does, husbands are a degree above their wives, women are to be sexual prisoners, a man may have up to 4 wives, mature men are allowed to marry pre pubescent girls, husbands may hit their wives.

This is all shit in the Quran.

STOP WITH YOUR BULLSHIT LIES AND JUST GO DIRECTLY TO THE SOURCE.

Your again are wrong. There is nothing in the Quran about punishing apostasy. You saying it is in the Quran doesn't make it so. YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED AN ACTUAL QUOTE FROM THE QURAN. THAT IS BECAUSE IT DOES NOT EXIST. I KNOW THE SOURCE MATERIAL BETTER THAN YOU AS I HAVE READ IT.

    YES IT DOES.

Qur'an (4:89) - "They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them, and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper."

Qur'an (9:11-12) - "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge. And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief - Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist."

It's literally right there in front of your face but you continue to deny it. Islam is a savage religion and promotes pedophelia and violence. That's the problem with religious assholes like you, you deny the facts.
  • Once again taken out of context. Why did you not present the entire verse? Because you are lazy and only seek to affirm an opinion you already established rather than to understand with an open mind. Here is what you omitted:

4:88-91 Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way. They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): so take not friends from their ranks until they forsake the domain of evil in the way of God (from what is forbidden). But if they revert to [open] enmity enmity, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them;"

Point 1: The "Hypocrites" that the Quran talks about are a specific group that was persecuting and killing Muslims at the time. This verse is talking about how to respond to them, not instructing Muslims in general to run off and kill non believers.

Point 2: it specifically talks about reverting to open enmity. Reverting from what? From the peace treaty they had made with the Muslim, which is something they did several times. Thus from the context we know this is talking about fighting people who broke a peace treaty by reverting to killing and persecuting Muslims.

The same thing applies to verse 9:11 and 9:12. This is again not talking about apostasy, it is talking about the pagans who were persecuting the Muslims at the time, something made clear by the earlier verses of this chapter.

And for the record, you confuse being educated with being religious. You are the one who is being an asshole to everyone on this forum, so that label applies to you, not me.

    No, it applies to you.

How many videos do we need to post of Muslim clerics and Muslims stating apostates and or infidels should be killed, or that its OK to marry and fuck a 9yr. old, or the proper way to beat your wife... for deniers like you to get it?

Nice backtracking you originally said it was in the Quran. I have proven that it is not, and now you say Islamic Law. You don't even understand the material. You are like a kindergartener trying to understand organic chemistry. Just because you are too dim-witted to understand history and context does not mean it doesn't exist. You are a pathetic human being who can't support an argument without resorting to fuck and faggot.

Woody is right, you should be banned from here. My job here is done.

  • What's the matter did stewy get banned again and that's why you're back as stewie? Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did.

  • Orisis,

The Quran and The Bible as well are full of violent, hateful, and disturbing images and the fact you defend it and say I'm taking it out of context...

NO I'M NOT, IT LITERALLY FUCKING SAYS THESE THINGS but like most religious morons you deny facts. Faith>Facts in your world.

  • Explain this one ya dumbass.

Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

  • Yeah, I'm a scientist, so yep, I like facts. Fact is, you don't appear to even understand the concept of context. It means you are taking one-line quotes and leaving the stuff out that makes it clear these quotes refer to historical events and are not commandments that Muslims are expected to follow literally today. It's like reading Snow White and saying all old women are commanded to give poisoned apples to young brunettes. The Quran is a narrative not a freaking instruction manual to be taken literally.
