    On top of that, what are the chances that a team is willing to part ways with a 2nd round pick for a one year rental of a player? That's the only way he'd be a free agent again in 2016...

  • Twitter crap aside, as much as I think Gipson is a great player he is coming off a knee injury. It's hard to tell sometimes how players come back from knee issues, even if they weren't total blow ups. Gipson will be a Brown next year, and there's nothing stopping them from working on a contract throughout the year.

    Relax, it's not like they cut him.

    What part of what the Brown's did is illogical? They essentially did what they did with Mack without the transition tag and WITH compensation should they decide not to match an offer, something that they would not have received with Mack. Macks deal included option years because that is what the Jaguars (I believe) offered him to make it a tough pill for the Browns. Gipson doesn't have ANY option years as of yet. Let him go out and see what he is worth. What people think he is worth, and what other teams value him at could be very different.

  • This all started as a Rant against Farmer. Farmer did it again, the BEST thing for THE player. Get fair Market Value for the Kid on a offer sheet. We sign him to it and he goes No Where. Good for Gipson !!
