Even though MJD retired?
Yep, Browns kinda style!

We trade all our shit away and get AP, Ray Rice and MJD.
Any attention is good attention. Maybe everyone will forget we took Johnny Rehab.

This won't happen. I live in Tampa and they're set on Winston or less likely, Mariota. Why would the Eagles want Josh Gordon and why would Tampa be so stupid to let Winston slip out of their grasp. Nobody in their right mind would make this trade.

Thanks for the inside information, Schefter.

Hypothetical trade just offered to me by friend and Jets writer - Browns trade #12, 3rd round pick and Manziel to New York in exchange for #5 and Geno Smith.
I said yes. In a heartbeat. I don't think there's a person alive who wouldn't say yes to that.

No way the Jets go for that.

Absolutely not. That's why its in this thread and not "Should we offer this".
The point in posting it is that there may be more interest in Manziel to outsiders than we give credit. The person that offered this hypothetical is knowledgeable, moreso than me, and he's been involved with the NFL for a while.
While it's likely nothing to this extent, I think there's a (likely large) faction that attribute Manziel's failures to mismanagement on our end.

Everyone hates Johnny. At least Mallett can see over the O-Line and throw passes sober.

Bill already passed on him once (I know you aren't serious).

The hardest part of JFF's rehab will be after he is out of the controlled environment and let loose. Driving past bars, and ice cold beer signs and saying 'no'.
