anyone that agrees with the denstist is a Retard. they tied a dead antelope to the back of their wagon and dragged it across the parking lot so the lion would smell it and approach. a parking lot. then they put huge spotlights on while the lion came walking across the parking lot so the dentist/hunter could pull up and aim his bow and shoot it. he did and he het the lion. but it didn't die, so thye had to (with the spotlights beaming ontop their jeeps) race it down where they found it and shot it. the huntet then took the lion's head as a trophy and left the carcus for whatever animals would eat it.
i get hunting and i get the gun thing but c'mon.......can't even the toughest right or left son of a bitch just realize that this shit is wrong?

Here in West Virginia deer hunting is allowed as a way to control the deer population so that not as many
starve to death during the winter. I, my father-in-law, nephews, etc. usually get our limit and if you come to
dinner at any of our houses throughout the year there is a good chance that venison will be part of the meal.
On the other hand, the orthopedic surgeon who did my hip replacement has a partner who has pictures of
his big game conquests which cover the wall of their waiting room. Among them are the surgeon posing with
a zebra, an eland, and a hippo--a fucking hippo for the love of god. He goes to reserves in Africa where the
guides lure the animals out into the open and he shoots them. From what I hear, his home is something out of
a Stephen King novel with stuffed lions posed to pounce on stuffed zebras and the like. The guy is the biggest
pussy you've ever met in your life.
Then you have the bad-assed bear "hunter's". A hunt consists of these yahoos mounting up on their four wheelers
and chasing a bear through the woods until it is exhausted. At which point they corner and shoot it. They then
exchange high fives and pose and post the pictures on Facebook.
And then you have the "fishermen". They get up at four in the morning and sit by the side of the road, waiting
for the truck from the hatchery to pass by on it's way to stock trout in the rivers. I swear I've seen a stock truck
with 10 cars following it on it's way to the river, cars full of guys ready for the cover of Outdoor Life. SMH.

Getting large sums of money from foreigners to hunt one animal, so you can reinvest it and potentially save dozens, seems like the only strategy they have though.
Well I guess we could open up a reserve and let hunters come in and shoot death row inmates. I bet that would help offset the costs of incarceration!

Even those in Zimbabwe don't understand the American outrage. Asked why the killing of a lion is such a big deal. Lions are killed all the time.
Its a big deal because stupid bleeding heart Americans board learned of it...like those on this board.
But most people in Zimbabwe donβt care about the dead lion, as they have much greater problems to deal with, such as an 80 percent unemployment rate, insane monetary inflation and a hugely corrupt government.

Lions and other large animals are typically viewed as dangerous by the local population, and if these animals are not hunted, their populations will explode and bring about all sorts of other issues, like rampant disease and increased attacks on people.

apparently they spent a lot of money on this preserve, it's a tourist attraction and something they hope revitalizes the local economy.....so the notion that people there don't give a fuck about this is ridiculous. Maybe people in other parts of Zimbabwe that aren't affected by tourism, fine...yeah why would they give a fuck? But people in the immediate area can't afford to have animals lured and shot off the land. And it's not just Lions.
But I think most of you are missing the point as to why people "here" are pissed. It's not just about one singular Lion, it's about all these endangered animals that rich people naturally assume they have kill rights on. That shit has to stop yesterday. People need to start being shot just like poachers are. There needs to be a mercenary army filled with well paid ex spec ops from all over the globe who have no limits on what they're allowed to do with people they catch. Pull some of these recruits away from Isis and give em something actually worthwhile.

i'm a little weirded out too that this planned parenthood bs isnt getting more attention. The bio companies behind that demand for baby parts are gettting such a clean skate it's ridiculous. I want them all outed and explaining why exactly they need 3rd trimester baby parts.
