Jonathan Paul Manziel

Here's a helpful tip......always highlight your sarcasm in pink ^^^^^^^^^ then even the thick ones will understand......
although cower also said once that brady Quinn is a winner.
I don't agree or disagree with anything just because Cowher said it. On what he said about Manziel I agree 100 percent.
-
Some of the stuff written in here about a young girl nobody knows nor has ever met is terrible. Maybe I'm just old fashioned
-
The girl is a entitled piece of trash party girl, nothing more.
Here's the full dashcam video, along with the dashcam video of Kruger talking to the police.

Best line "She's not the one he should be with, I'll tell you that."

I dont think its a non story at all....In fact, Im thinking this may be the end of Johnny here in Cleveland.....
Pettine's "contentious press conference" today...... Pet seemed pretty irritated over the whole thing ..... Dude looked stressed in the 15 second clip they showed.
Just a few weeks ago, Pat McManamon was saying "his info" already had the Browns at the "fed up" level. Honestly, I think Pet wishes he'd never even heard of Johnny, let alone having to be his coach. So, he endures yet another hi pressure pressy all about his Back Up QB. What coach wants to deal with this over and over and over and over. Which is what Pet has been doing.
Manziel could face NFL discipline for domestic incident ...
.....and/or possible alcohol consumption.....ala Josh Gordon....."if" he's in the program(and I think he is)...
Following his rocky rookie seasaon, Manziel spent 70 days in a Pennsylvania rehab facility during the offseason for an unknown condition. It's not known if he is in the league's substance-abuse program. If he is and if he violated any conditions, Manziel could face additional fines or suspensions. As above....I think the odds say he is already in the program and it was probably the reason he entered rehab to begin with. After all his statements of "I aint changing for nobody", he suddenly decided 70 days in a clinic was needed all on his own???....(cmon)...hahaha....I think someone decided for him or it was negotiated to prevent other action....Pettine would not say if the Browns have considered trading Manziel, a first-round draft pick in 2014.You can bet they have considered it and are, in fact, trying to find a suitor as we speak.....Finally...FARMER, who has not spoken since his return, should be the one answering all the Johnny Distraction questions....Pettine should be coaching, not baby sitting or spinning PR on our loose cannon back up..... -
Dont care if this chick is a straight up kunt, he put hands on her he needs to be held accountable. Again she doesn't wanna press charges only cause it'll Fuck up her meal ticket. She needs to get away from him just as much as he needs to vet away from her. This is only the tip of the ice berg. Alcohol + young man with temper and ego issues+ drama kunt= DANGER
So letting her jump out of the car is a better alternative? Ok.

@KosichJohn: "She's not the right one he should be with I'll tell you that much." Paul Kruger on Johnny Manziel's girlfriend. https://t.co/vxmz0Gh98D
Pretty reasonable distillation of the 16-minute, raw dash cam with the Kruger bit added and the audio cleaned up more than a little.
This made me LOL!!!
Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying...
According to cleveland.com MKC stats he had her in a headlock while still driving, it's unbelievable the levels they stoop to, just to add a little extra twist.
I'm done reading the BS written on that site, they're supposed to be supporters.
Actually that is in the full Police report. I believe the first 911-caller on the freeway reported this as what appeared to be going on in the moving vehicle. But to twist it to make it seem to be verifiable fact is irresponsible.
This incident seems a little overblown to me. If it were any other player, it would be a non-issue. But Manziel has a target on him because of who is is. Cowher's right, we should cut him for being a distraction.
Your "logic" made my head hurt...

If you've read any of MKC on cleveland.com- she's been on a anti-Johnny rampage. I wouldn't be upset if the PD sent her packing.

Rizzo is not the most credible guy when it comes to stirring up rumors.
I don't think we'd have to try that hard to trade him, Dallas would love him - but what we'd get in return is questionable.

Just listened to Pett's presser.
A. He's dumb for letting the questions drag on so long. Make a statement. Answer a couple questions. Then say "that's all I have to say on that." Repeat answer every time a Johnny question is asked. Walk out of the presser of the reporters don't move on. It's pretty simple.
B. Given A, it's pretty easy to see why Pettine was so annoyed (and he really wasn't THAT annoyed). It looked to me like he was more annoyed by the fact that the media wouldn't shut up than him being annoyed that we're talking about Johnny again.
Yes, Pettine did say "if any other guy had done this, would we be talking about this the entire time?" (Paraphrase). That could either mean he thinks it's no big deal and is being blown out of proportion. Or that could mean that Pettine is annoyed that Johnny's "johnnyness," if you will, just ruined his press conference. You could sell me either way.
Personally, when people asked why Johnny didn't get the treatment that our OL coach received given that there were allegations Johnny hit her, it really felt to me like Pettine wanted to be like "look everyone, Colleen is a dumb idiot. The only marks she had were from Johnny trying to keep her in the car. The cops let Johnny walk. There was no issue. The girl is BSC. Stop wasting my time with the comparison." But that's just my read.
C. Pettine was completely and unequivocally complimentary of Johnny's work in the locker room and on the field this year. Said he has been an "A+ in the building." I really don't think he goes out of the way to take up for the kid in that manner if they're planning on, or even thinking about, cutting him.

A. That's not Pet. Some of the questions were from different angles and deserved an answer, even if it ended up in part being "not going to get into that."
B. Agree... not all that annoyed... at least not for the first 10 minutes or so. But the question about the locker room not being held accountable clearly stunned and hurt him. He fought to believe it was not true, and it likely is not true, but it hurt. After this and by the end of the JM segment, however, he was annoyed. His sarcasm in reaction to finally being asked a game question showed it. From there it quickly faded.

There's a "final straw" out there somewhere. Hard for me to see this as being it.
Im thinking it is.....just have that feeling.....when they act on it is another thing, but I dont see ANY way he is here next year....and honestly think he'll be gone before this season is over.....
If you've read any of MKC on cleveland.com- she's been on a anti-Johnny rampage. I wouldn't be upset if the PD sent her packing.
Nor would I.....in fact, Id be elated....she's been fixated on him since he got here.....

Well, of course they are.....
I don't think we'd have to try that hard to trade him.....but what we'd get in return is questionable.
We'd have to try hard to get any value....thats for sure.....but Im sure plenty of teams would try him for nothing....
Maybe, if were lucky, we can mix him and some of our many late picks to at least create the impression we got something for him......like Johnny and a 5th-6th-7th for a 3rd......
OR .....we could trade him to Dallas for weeden......

Tell me where Cowher is wrong:
"I've watched Johnny Manziel now for a year and a half and I think he's a backup quarterback at best. And he's a distraction off the field," Cowher said on The NFL Today. "And listen, I believe in second chances but after the second chance, to me there's a zero-tolerance policy. He can't put himself into the position he put himself into.
"I would ask for his release and I would do it for this reason: in that locker room players want accountability ... and that's the message that needs to be sent right here, that you're accountable for your actions both on the field and off the field."
Tell me where Cowher is wrong:
I don't give a fuck whether he's right or wrong... he has no skin in the game.
Does his HC tenure, when he had skin in a game, stand up to the scrutiny of his current, ill-informed assessment?
Sometimes it matters who says what... not just the what that is said.
for about the 10th time in 16 months....(how much is too much????).....
... or, put another way, the first time since the golf course, water bottle incident, that was almost 5-months ago... around OTAs?
I think the kid earned one reset...

Yeah...dont get me wrong, Im not necessarily screaming for his head, just saying what I think will happen...(tho I am over him...way)
What it really boils down to is what the BROWNS really think of him.....if they honestly think he's gonna be a franchise QB, they might keep him for one more try".......but if they dont really have an confidence in his game, he's gone.......(I think)....
Gilbert?.....he's performed about the same, but with only one known incident vs Johnnys multiple stacked incidents....not defending his play, but he's nowhere near the PR nightmare that Johnny has been....and he is starting to contribute now, so see no reason to do anything but see where it goes through the balance of the season.....
-
JM's on-field improvement has definitely played a role in my view.
And sorry 'bout the Gilbert jab... "just tryin' to keep it lively."

Yea I mean, he played a solid game in his start this year and won. Wasn't world-beating, but it was solid.
Not sure why everybody's so quick to trade him, cut him, etc. Had this been somebody without the name recognition, it would have been a non-story.

Absolutely. He ain't her babysitter.

Who says he's not accountable? Not all discipline is public. People should mind their business and let the team take care of it.

No charges were filed either in a similar type incident just last month involving our former offensive line coach but the Browns wasted no time parting company with Moeller.

Terrible comparison. Why do you desire to hurt your team so badly?

I'd agree with all that, but he's got to learn to ignore the stupidity. That accountability question was ridiculous on its face, thought not as much as the Moeller comparison.
