Guys, the defense was very good against Denver....and really good for 3 quarters(they didn't score a point on offense first three qtrs) today.
Against San Diego defense was terrible....bit last two weeks defense has been good and offense terrible.

Man I gotta agree with Zombo. That play at the end was meaningless, however it proved a huge point.
Manziel hasn't learned a god damn thing. It's fourth fucking down, you HAVE to get a first down to keep even a glimmer of hope for the game, and you try to run for 7-8 yards after what looked like a one look read?? And you don't even come close to making it, AND NOW you go for the give up slide?? That's the only time you go for a superman gotta have it Manziel special dive.
Actually, no don't dive at all... instead find Gary or Benji where ever they are behind the sticks and throw it up for grabs.... Doesn't matter if they are triple covered, it's 4th down, who gives a shit if they pick it. Give yourself a freaking chance... Dude killed to many brain cells drinking.

I have no idea if manziel can be good or not. But I know the 36 yo journeyman who is 2-15 in his last 17 starts isn't good, so.....
You don't just stumble into a 2-15 record by chance....even with bad teams.
Something about mccown in that Denver game rubbed me the wrong way.....how the heck did the offense not take just one of those huge stops or turnovers on defense late with that field position and not win? Mccown took a terrible sack on one and threw a terrible int on another.....and we just needed a fg on either

From being totally unprepared to start the Cincy game last year to his rehab to everything else off the field that he does that good NFL quarterbacks don't do to know that I've seen enough. I agree we bring in the third stringer, But I also think Manziel is a coward who is not comitted to the Browns organization or his teammates.

I was there, Mark- Pettine better be careful- the team QUIT. Those 2 turnovers set the table. You could just tell- the Browns weren't winning.
They quit at halftime, yet came out with the 2nd half kickoff and moved the ball down the field and cut into the lead??? Ok... I'm thinking you had too much pregame wine and missed that part. I did not see a team that quit at any point in that game. I saw Benjamin fumble when it was still a game trying to fight for extra yardage. I saw McCown still standing in there trying to make plays despite the rush. I didn't see a team that quit.

Problem is heart doesn't win games. Sorry Z, I'll take a team with talent who actually wins as opposed to a team full of hard workers with heart. That isn't some endorsement for Manziel at all but McCown does have his flaws (read, has terrible internal clock).
I'm no quite at the throw the season down the drain mode, but I just don't see McCown leading us to more than 2-3 wins at most. In three or so weeks you might as well see what you got. Heck, if that guy is Davis that's fine too.
