  • I think there's many, many valid criticisms you could make regarding Obama and his policies, you guys are doing a great job at bringing up those criticisms so we could discuss them further.

  • Oh god here we go...

And a man lived in a large fish too, right?

    New International Version Matthew 12:40

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

If you are a believer (I am) you give this statement a lot of weight because it is coming from Jesus Himself. Would Jesus use a fable to describe his death and resurrection?

  • Thank you for making this easy for me

Easy for both of us: The unbeliever believes the bible to be foolishness because it is spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2:14

  • All these years later and we're still talking about this? The guy is a shit muslim if he is one, which he's not. Has it never occurred to any of you that a true "secret" mooslim would find himself more often on the conservative spectrum of things than liberal? I mean seriously....if there is an antithesis to the muslim view of the world in this country it's liberalism. I mean for gods sake, abortion...gay marriage.....equality of the sexes....all liberal cornerstones and completely antithetical to muslim idealogy.

  • I've had huge Christian influences in my life. What's your point?

Through about 14 or 15 I went to church because my friends went to church and we hung around. Reverend Lions would let me come in during the week and play the organ. I don't think my dad ever really went.

I went to church camp around that time.

    Oh, I bet he did...

  • I was a camp counselor at a church camp when I was in my early teens. Shortly after, I realized it was all a big goof.
