  • Kaep sucks, hes another JFF Billy Manziel. We best stay away from that!!!

  • Well you know me, I think we fucked up the Johnny situation and it cost us this season and cost the front office their jobs.

But despite what the pundits think, and we know how much of their shit they have together, some other real Browns fans have been down this road before every 18 months as a matter of fact. So if Hue Jackson is on his way to the playoffs at the end of the second season great.

But just between you and me this bullshit about holding players to such a high standard doesn't seem like it's been the rule of law in Cincinnati does it?

Still I'd say that die hard is way down on the list of negative assholes, at least around here.

Did we also fuck up the Gilbert situation? Or do you see him as the uninterested non-professional hack he actually is?

Every human is responsible for their own actions, all the time. Pettine didn't make him skip meetings, go to Vegas, or backhand his girlfriend. No matter what you believe Browns could have done, Boyziel's actions would not have changed..

it seems the team played with emotion while he was in.

They may have played with emotion, but he still never executed a progression. Not one.

In the second season Manziel proved he could play at a respectable level in the NFL Gilbert did not. So what the fuck are you talking about?

    WSS

  • ps he was late for a meeting like lots of guys and he probably should have smacked his girlfriend. But the league who crawls up people's ass for stuff like that cleared him. So you're talking out your ass. As per usual

    No, he didn't.

This isn't some kind of inarguable fact - he's done nothing.

It is a fact, you just won't admit it because it shows you for the ass hole that you are.

You can't find too many of those so called experts Mark uses as proof of Jackson's qualifications who will agree with you.

  • Johnny is apparently telling people the Cowboys, Rams, and Chiefs are interested in him reported by Ed Werder at ESPN. Which he hasn't heard directly from them of course because that'd be collusion.

    I can imagine though

"Hey Johnny you probably shouldn't take a selfie video giving the finger and chugging a bottle of don julio"

"Nah man it's cool the Cowboys, Rams, and Chiefs still want me"

That's collusion, plain & simple. You're not allowed to talk to a player under contract with another team until- pick a date. That date is not now.

lol... well can always start counting up... kind of a BC/AD thing...

We know the "talent assessment" debate has the legs to be a contentious topic for a long, long time.

    The show must... you know...

    Go on!

I didn't get that one Tour... I got a better one, see below.

Speaking of Johnny Fags, suck this one up....

  • Johnny goes to Dallas and leads the Cowboy's to the playoff's after Romo goes down. Browns fans watch highlights of Manziel on ESPN every Sunday as he throwsTD to Dez Bryant. While Browns wallow in mediocrity.

lol. Be careful which mushrooms you pick next time.
  • Steve,

Johnny "proved" nothing. He flashed his capability in one game where the opponent played with a lead almost the entire way and was determined to make him beat them with his arm, if he could... and he couldn't. That was 2015 vs. PTG, and even that level of performance was not seen again.

Cinci today is a boys choir off the field compared to what it was a few years ago when they led the league in arrests... two years running IIRC. On-field? 2015 left Marv some work to do.

Won't get into your defense of another except to say you are 0 for 3.

  • Kaep reportedly wants to go to New York.

    Manziel to San Fran?

Of course you would say that. The Browns player who called Billy a 100% joke and others disagree....Seth Rollins calls out Manziel on WWE RAW:

  • love WSS. very talented musician. if i could play a chord or hit a note vocally as smooth as he does i think i might have given up everything and put all my money on red and made a move.

    BUT

don't really get the defense of manziel (anymore). yeah, i know he's a kid and if anything, he's just doing the kid shit most of us did back in the day. i get it. most do. but when the roadmaster 3000 dies out on the highway for the 3rd or 4th time you don't stand next to it and go, what a great car! sorry, my fault for driving you too hard babe. no you finally realize you bought a piece of shit and start kicking the shit out of it while you wait for a tow truck.

i loved the gilbert pick but i realize that i was wrong and now have no defense when people say hey: shoulda drafted A, B or C instead............

    but there's always next year!

I've been debating with steve for a little while over in the politics side, and I've *never* seen him as invested in a subject as this. It's almost enough for me to reconsider. Almost.

  • Steve - the facts are, he has shown some potential, but not enough, not nearly enough, to warrant keeping him around with the media frenzy every time he farts, the ill-discipline off the field, the lack of respect for and from the teammates. A new coach is looking to turn around the losing and 'suffocating' atmosphere in the locker room to one where everyone is striving to be the best, and Manziel is not conducive to that.

Perhaps he can go some place where winning is already a ritual, where there are so many good examples of people dedicated to their craft that he can't help but fall in line, like green bay or somewhere, and perhaps he turns it around. But it's not happening for him in Cleveland, and the sooner he's on a different team the better for all concerned.

  • His work ethic is horrible! His talent is NFL marginal. He is just a spoiled brat and cares about nothing but himself. plus it's becoming apparent he is prone to abuse women too. He sucks without adding a word about opioids, cocaine or alcohol. WHAT A PUSSSY!

but like I've said my friend no one else is striving to be the best. This is the worst team in the league and his play has not contributed to that sad fact.

Why are they so ill prepared? You tell me. Poor coaching? Lack of discipline? Laziness?

Like I've been saying over and over? The team you are describing isn't the Cleveland Browns, at least it hasn't been for many years. Sure send him to a quality team and he will be successful. Send anybody to a quality team and they will be better then they would be here recently.

Still who's the guy that advocates building a strong team and who are the guys thinking it will make a difference to shitcan every player they don't like?

I think you mentioned Green Bay in a post which is ironically the place Jerry Glanville banished Brett Favre to when he was drunk all the time.

Like Ghoolie said the kid is a weird son of a bitch, a good deal of this shit is his own fault but a good deal is a mesmerizing public who can't get enough TMZ.
