He was more or less saying countries like Japan and South Korea need to be more independent and able to defend themselves. And said it's not as bad if those countries have nukes compared to places like pakistan and north korea.
Likewise he said he "wouldn't rule out" using nukes which freaked everybody out - but what else is he supposed to say. If we'd rule out using nukes might as well destroy our arsenal.
Trump's foreign policy ideas are more isolationist - the rest of the world doesn't like that because it means America comes first.

Just giving you a hard time. Here is the deal. Trump has never held public office and has made some rookie mistakes. As a conservative I don't think Trump is a conservative at all like you are not a conservative (in your post you stated about Sessions, ("you conservatives worship him"). Trump used the exact language with Matthews when he fumbled the abortion question and said, "the conservatives believe the woman should be punished". There you go he is a liberal acting like a conservative and if he had a clue what conservatives really thought on the abortion issue he would know we have never taken that position. That is a stereotype of what liberals think about us.
I'm going to have to throw away my vote this year and do a write in candidate. Trump v Clinton is not much of a choice for me. Trump is a liberal trying to pass himself off as a conservative and he knows very little about policy issues. He scares me having access to the nuclear codes as he has shown himself to be a petulant juvenile with an impulsive temper.
BTW - Matthews is a democratic hack acting like a journalist. In quick order he destroyed Trump and did exactly what I said would happen to Trump if he didn't get himself up to speed and knowledgeable about the issues. For all your hatred about Cruz at least Cruz can go hours with a hack like Matthews in an interview and not get caught with a deer in the headlights look of Trump because he does not know enough about the issues. You could vote libertarian. They just have to get 15% and we start having a viable third party. it would open the door for more parties being an option and the Dem/Rep monopoly would be broken.

I don't think he's liberal either - he's a populist nationalist. He has ideas that are left and ideas that are far right - he isn't cursed by one political ideology

It is, but if anybody else got the same amount of negative and misleading publicity as Trump did I don't think they'd survive like he has - it's pretty impressive he managed to win the nomination considering they pushed the narrative that he's racist, sexist, his supporters are violent, he's hitler, etc, etc.

Mark Levin is Jewish and a big time supporter of Cruz. Levin does not care a bit about Cruz's personal Christian beliefs. Levin cares about our constitution. He supports Cruz because Cruz is also a constitutional scholar and has argued and won cases before the Supreme Court. If Cruz would be president he would run this country like the constitution has it set up to be run. The idea he would set up some kind of theocracy is not true.
