Uninformed cry Trump is a Russian agent - Scholar of Russian Geopolitics thinks Trump has a point

We can just give Russia a big red button that says "overcharge" and all will be fine.

how interesting, Putin tells zakaria almost in precise words the same sentiments that i have multiple times over the past few years tried to expound on some of you monkeys to zero avail. But because Putin said Trump is a colorful and brilliant candidate you guys take Putins (and Trumps) load all over your face and rub it in like lotion.
ic how that works.

I somewhat agree with that profesdor but at the same time you dont openly threaten nato in public. You tell them behind the scenes itsvtime to pony up or in publuc tou do so very very very tactfully. Doing it like trump did you give putin ammo to go to these small fringe countries and offer them a better deal
Was Trump's rhetoric (or Obama's lack thereof, for that matter) responsible for the Russian military involvement against Georgia, Chechnya, and Ukraine?
No. The fact is that we aren't going to do a damn thing to protect non-NATO countries. If Russia wants to reabsorb their former Soviet bloc countries, the US will not do anything to stop them because that's how you start a world war.
As far as publicly calling out NATO, it's not nearly as detrimental as you're making it out to be. NATO's Supreme Commander agrees with Trump (source) for crying out loud. The US, UK, and Poland are the only ones who are paying the agreed upon 2% of their budget on defense of all NATO nations. The rest of the countries are freeloading off of US military power; it's time for a reassessment of that whole situation.
Again, if you're interested in learning more about this situation check out Dan Carlin's Common Sense podcast episode 305. He talks precisely about individual European nation economies, and how they should be strong enough to build militaries that can stand up to Russia.
Very excellent post

What was the deal with the CNN interviewer having a pile of Hillary signs in the background?
I also liked how he got perennially BTFO for 5 minutes then said "I'd love to have this discussion with you all day, but we're out of time!"
Then they promptly cut back to a panel of "analysts" who continued talking shit about Trump.

I saw somebody post this - seems accurate
"Trump Too Offensive To Work With Russia While Trump Is Working For Russia To Start War With Russia Because He Is Too Uninformed About International Relations To Know How To Deal With Russia And Has A Long History Of Dealings With Russia"
-
Putin isn't necessarily someone I would trust but I will say that the guy was dead on.
Side note: there is about zero chance Hillary tries to come to a reasonable relationship with Russia after accusing them of somehow trying to keep her from winning.

Psssh. Another so called "expert". Next you'll be wanting me to believe them about climate change
-
"We're approaching a Cuban Missile Crisis level nuclear confrontation with Russia," he explained. "And there is absolutely no discussion, no debate, about this in the American media."
I was wondering why he said this
because our collective attention spans wont let us think about Russia's military ambitions
past our need to find and collect peekachews....?

“From Russia with Money: Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset, and Cronyism”

Skolkovo
A major part of this technological cooperation included Russian plans to
create its own version of Silicon Valley.23 The research facility, on the outskirts
Moscow, was dubbed “Skolkovo” and would be developed with the cooperation
and investment of major U.S. tech firms.24 In 2010, Cisco pledged a cool $1
billion to Skolkovo, and Google and Intel also jumped on board.25 (All three
happened to be major Clinton Foundation supporters as well—as we will see, a
significant factor for dozens of companies who became involved with Skolkovo.)so its more - look at what Trumps sayin - instead of what the crook, liar hag is DOing!
-
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta sat on the board of a small energy company alongside Russian officials that received $35 million from a Putin-connected Russian government fund, a relationship Podesta failed to fully disclose on his federal financial disclosures as required by law.
