  • I think Rosen will be a better pro then Mayfield.

It has nothing to do with character for me. It has to do with his size and skills

They both have off the field stuff. And the skills are better with Rosen. So  that’s why  I like Rosen better

Plus Mayfield plays against defenses that inflate Qb stats.

Mayfield is a risky pick.  I'm not sure any QB who's first NFL start is starting week 1 for the 2018 Cleveland Browns isn't insanely risky.

If possible I'd have no issue with giving Kirk Cousins legit free agent money.

  • This is all just posturing by the Rosen camp.  They'll now of course deny it and will never fess up that they leaked it.  In reality, he'd be a fool to go back to college as he'll only give the skeptics another year to find his flaws and likely ruin his chance to be the number one pick.  The NFL and the NFLPA shouldn't let a college player dictate the draft, but after letting guys like Elway and Eli Manning manipulate the system, the cat is out of the bag.

All that being said, why would the kid every want to come to this historically bad $h!+ show?

  • Hey all this chatter just makes it more likely someone nay want to move up in a deep qb class. Im fine with it. Rosens my top choice but if hevreally wants to go to the giants thats fine. We move down to #3 and still get darnold or someone else. Cause SF wont go qb with the #2 cause they gave garrapolo

Giants are clearly #2 now down 23-0. SF won again today. Houston now in the #5 spot at least till they play tomorrow.

  • No matter if you don't declare to this draft, looking at the team: We will scout you, we will find you, and we will draft you.

  • He said he is staying in school to avoid being drafted by the browns.

He completely mindfvcked by the Browns.  We'll draft a great QB no matter what

  • looks to me, like rosen get frustrated when getting sacked, etc, and losing, so he ends up

injured, and quickly ends up on the sideline in his comfortable clothes. nah. More not impressed every week.

not all that durable, compared to Darnold and Allen - who run more.

I reposted these links - somehow, they just disappeared. Atenears obviously loves him some rosen.

    Hi Andrew

    You first.

I acknowledge your admission that you've got no evidence - but then you cite "article after article" which have equally fact-free assertions.. as though some amorphous entity's pre-existing stupidity creates reality?

Nope. You've got nothing and they've got nothing.. period.

You want to cite articles? Go for it. Each article you link I'll show you why they have nothing.. And when there's no articles left, your assertion that there's a Mass Of Articles falls apart.. and your justification for believing negative stuff about Rosen.. vanishes.

Think it through.... without the "asserted societal conclusion" the entire notion that there is a problem with Rosen falls apart.

This stuff about Rosen is from Starting A Rumor 101..

If I'm trying to get a rumor started, I say "I Heard Someone Else Say XYZ" when in reality I'm the only one saying XYZ.  Then the naive person who hears this runs around asking everyone "Who Is Saying This XYZ About Me/Whoever" ... when in reality now they're the one actively spreading the rumor because it wasn't a thing before I said it.. and now they're trying to find out "Who Was Saying This Before."  This is precisely how evil people get dumb/naive/gullible/simple people to do their bidding and do actively evil things.  The entire point is to get everyone running around asking Who Is Saying XYZ... because after a while people will believe that simply because they're saying that someone else is saying XYZ... it must actually be a thing.

This is exactly what happened with McQueary and Schiano --- the guy who McQueary asserted was Saying Something about Schiano testified that McQueary's assertion was a lie -- and the UT fans didn't believe him, they believed McQueary.. because society is actually now geared towards trying to "Take Someone Down"

Groupthink stupidity is a societal problem not just with Rosen... people are too eager to believe fact-free nonsense

baloney. I posted where Rosen ADMITTED he has a problem with other women on campus - he had female friends who had to

try to explain him in a better light. wherever that was, can't find it again.... but rosen's immature whining gets old. Darn, he couldn't take ONE CLASS because of football practice? seriously, rosen? whiny beatch. The whole world is so unfair to entitled josh rosen.

    https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/08/08/stanford-coach-david-shaw-disagrees-with-ucla-qb-josh-rosen/

compare playing college football to slavery. eh, Did slaves get free educations, 60 grand a year?,

free excellent dorms, free food, free travel around the country, free this free that... what a tool.

It's so unfair - Rosen doesn't like to read - but he forces himself. boo hoo - what a victim.

The lights are too bright. The crowds are too large.

So far this season, he is average. Rosen is the 10th-rated passer in the Pac-12. He's ninth in yards per attempt.

He threw three interceptions in the opener at Texas A&M.

Not that hard to find, cal... did the leg work for you just to show how completely biased your take of what Rosen actually said is...

He also admits he's not the most beloved guy on the UCLA sorority scene. "I have a superiority complex I need to get rid of," he says. "Girls that I am really good homies with tell me about how often they have to defend my image to girls that don't know me." Earlier in the day he described what he's looking for in a future partner: "My wife is going to be a fighter. I need someone to tell me to f‑‑‑ off every once in a while." While noting that the demands of football don't leave him enough time for a girlfriend, he acknowledged, "I'm not mature enough right now."

No matter the section of the forum, you are consistent.

Good job, but I don't see where my paraphrase is off base at all. He admits he has a superiority complex he has to get rid of. He admits he has some gal friends who have to defend him to other gals who don't really know him. Some gals accept jerk guys for whatever reason. Some don't.

I just don't harp about allen's injury history and wonder about his durability, while ignoring rosen's injury history, etc. That's all.

  • Go watch the video of Rosen all the way through in this page.  It will change your mind about him.

I don't see Socky in there.

I do, however, see lucid and clear while demonstrating a grasp of [and ability to verbalize] intellectual nuance.

He's accused of being "Socky" or "brash" ---- but what is NEVER described is (1) precisely where he "IS" on the scale of Socky and (2) Where every other athlete at UCLA currently exists on that same scale used to measure Rosen.

For Rosen to be "too Socky" ... first, show me with LINKS how he's precisely equal to LiAngelo Ball in Sockiness.. they lived on the same campus.  Or, any other athlete on scholarship. News flash: It's a D1 school. D1 athletes are Socky whether you like it or not - it's who they always have been.

Until it's shown that Rosen is MORE Socky THAN even an extremely Socky D1 athlete..........  This whisper campaign is BS.
