Saw some of him during the senior bowl.  Great length. Being talk doesn't mean he'll be cut down - that's all about playing with low leverage and control.  Julius peppers was pretty tall IIRC.

. Is there anything you DON'T want to bitch about?

Who's bitching snowflake?   I gave your boyfriend a posting that was positive (and from a media member who's opinion I respect) and you still want to be all gay sissy boy with me.   Seems that you have an issue with me doesn't it??    I can be objective and post things positive about your boyfriend Allen.  Can you do the same about Rosen, not for me because he's not my first choice at QB in this draft.  I don't think you can.  You have an unhealthy love for Allen while having an equally unhealthy hate for Rosen.   Let me ask you the same stupid question Po asked me....will you quit being a Browns fan if they take Rosen at #1 in the draft?

no, sissy markie - I will always be a Browns fan. But they won't draft rosenbum - he isn't a fit in the locker room or community, IMHO. There. I made a prediction. They will draft Darnold... or maybe Mayfield. I've said before that Allen isn't ready to start - Mayfield may be the only one who could hit the ground running as a rookie.

but I wouldn't count out Mike White. He could end up being a lot more an NFL qb thank some think.

I really like to watch Allen play - he reminds me of watching freaking Elway play. That isn't going to change. You BITCH like I'm the only one who thinks that. I'm not.

It's you who came out of the bitch closet and started bitching at me. I'll say it again slowly - "when you stir up a turd, it stinks more". There's your sign.

      Anyways, back to football -

Mayfield has convinced me he is far more a high pick than I thought - and when I watched the State Farm All star competition - Mike White was more accurate than your boyfriend rosenbum. Rosen did win the competition by two seconds - but Mike White wasn't speed racing - he was just hitting the targets. Rosenbum badly missed on both long

And, the kid from Toledo is also very impressive. Woodside. He's "only" 6'2"

I actually quit talking about Allen because I'd said all there was to say. Will you stop being a Browns fan if they draft Allen? I'm big on character and leadership. I could post a whole lot of references to red flag questions/suggestions that rosenbum lacks seriously in that dept. why you ignore that, I don't know. That's a ryan leaf lesson.

I believe his "ethnicity" and attitude about himself just puts him off my list. I believe he's the only one I kicked off my list.

the problem  is your references are all anonymous sources.  Anyone on record, including his teammates have gone on to say the complete opposite.        If you believe something, put your name to it.   Therefore I take the word of someone willing to attach their name to what they would say,  wouldn't you?

You continue to ignore the fact that Rosen isn't my top choice.   I'd take Darnold or Mayfield over Rosen and I've said that many times.   Rosen will get his chance with the interviews at the combine and the team visits and if his attitude is as bad as you claim that it is, that will all come out.

& Would you and Mark stop ragging on each other? Sitting on the sidelines watching the war, I almost started deleting some of it. 🙂

Now if our one trick pony with his obsessive\ compulsive fixation on a certain running back would lay off, the rest of us would be a lot happier. I even started a new Barkley thread, and it's just been more of the same. The leopard can't change his spots apparently.  I can't believe Tour got so POed when I locked that thread he's been nowhere to be seen since. I'll have to call him before the combine to please come back.

Well, not MY sources, but it's true that the "reports" are second hand at best. Rosen's faults are the intangibles - very subjective.

There are some factors - like Rosen himself admitting he had a problem with women not liking him on his own campus, -who don't know him-. Just an added indicator -

I don't know if I expect someone who says some star is actually a jerk would have his name all over the media - and have half the folks who don't care hate him, and the other half agree with him. Maybe it's more divisiveness when it comes to intangibles.

It isn't easy to explain - like when I watched that state farm competition - guys really gravitate and joke around with guys - talking about qb's, they really like White, and Benkert, and they seem to not initiate conversation with rosen. He tried - he actively gave high faves to some guys who competed in the events here and there - that was slight, just what I notice about his games in college - guys like Jackson, Allen, Mayfield, Wentz, White, Darnold. Rudolph - their teammates and fans LOVE them. Rosen seems to be missing that.

I suppose if I knew a qb on my team was a jackwagon - I wouldn't tell the media I didn't like my qb - since that qb was good enough to go in the draft. Nobody wants to be dragged into that, or just upend his chances. But behind the scenes, off the record, I suppose I would grumble that he was not the person you would ever hang around with or cheer for.

I don't know, we'll see how it all plays out.

The Stanford games I watched, two players stood out. Bryce Love, and Harrison Phillips. In 2017: STATS - 103 Tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 recovered fumbles, 1 blocked FG . Ex wrestler. He's a machine out there.

The NFL projections in the scouting report on DaShawn Hand of Bama read exactly like Emmanuel Ogbah: One of the best against the run, not much against the pass.

Don't hate on Ogbah -- is he an all-pro? No, but only 4 DL in the AFC are.  Let's don't look to replace Ogbah as a starter unless you're substituting someone substantially better.. and there's plenty of positions which can be much more significantly upgraded by a replacement before you get to Ogbah's spot.

Ogbah plus Garrett is a great combo. Ogbah had some very good combine numbers himself. With both healthy, and Collins back, and a SS or CB this draft, we'll be a find defense to watch.

                            Anyways, back to football -

I actually quit talking about Allen because I'd said all there was to say. Will you stop being a Browns fan if they draft Allen? I'm big on character and leadership. I could post a whole lot of references to red flag questions/suggestions that rosenbum lacks seriously in that dept. why you ignore that, I don't know. That's a ryan leaf lesson.

Well said Tom.  Ogbah was the #1 ranked DE against the run by PFF before he got injured last year.  I think he was also leading us in sacks and QB pressures rather easily at the time.  When I think of all the spots we need to upgrade in our starting line-up - his isn't one of them.

I don't disagree but we need one more in the DE rotation. Orchard was worthless both as a pass rusher and as a run stopper. 2 are not enough for a full 60 minutes or OT. Quality rotation is a must to effectively pressure a QB all game.

delusional....our defense is bad....8 of our 11 defenders should not even be receiving meaningful playing time in the nfl.

We've got a long ways to go on defense and offense.  but this is the nfl, so change is quick.

No quiero Taco Bell.    Try not to confuse the productivity of Ogbah and Garrett (especially when healthy) with our DEFENSE you're disappointed in.  The reason we STARTED the year off very strong against the run is we had 2 or 3 of our front 4 ranking in the elite against the run via PFF  I think the 3 guys ranking high were Meder and Ogbah. Not only that, Trevor Coley was very opportunistic of the double teams Shelton commanded to play just as well as Meder.  Not to be outdone, a blocker-free Joe Schobert looked very much like the Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year he was at Wisconsin leading us and the NFL in tackles.

As for the yo quiero Taco Bell part, we DO have a long way to go in the secondary.  But, we'll get our 1st chance to see the corner we drafted from Houston last year.  Meanwhile, we have enough early round picks to improve our secondary as well as FA opportunities.

He's a terrific college player - a bit skinny - depends on his forty time  at the combine - 247sports has him at 4.64 - surely that isn't correct. It's said he's a FS, SS, box safety.... I did have him in my one mock draft

I'm placing a very high mark on the "attitude and personality", and granted I obviously don't KNOW any of these guys, but from what I observed, I absolutely love the fire of Mayfield. I just feel like the guy who FINALLY succeeds in our beleaguered city is going to be someone with the type of Socky, can't-lose, kiss my azz attitude that Baker possesses.
