IMO Our def scheme sucks...

  • There's a reason we've been ranked so low in defense all year.

IMO there will be much change in the off-season.

  • Given what I've seen regarding the depth of your knowledge of defense, I'd say this thread is taken with a grain of salt.

  • Yeah I really don't agree with most of that.

The Ravens didn't do some "old school, hard nose, out effort" football stuff. They put a bunch of guys in motions and tried to trick the defense. Something they've been doing for a short amount of time so there's not a lot of film on it.

I only caught the first half and the back of the 4th, but it didn't seem like a defensive scheme issue. It was guys not following their assignments. On Lamar's first TD run we had Collins setting the edge and watching the RB. Schobert should have stayed with Lamar, but he went outside with the RB as well. That left a big hole in the middle. If anything our LBs were exposed today and it was made clear that our number one need on D.

We also definitely weren't better on D last year. That's some revisioninst history nonsense.

  • Ravens run offense is just dominate..complimented by a solid defense..

Our defense is an offseason away from being really good.

The potential needs in draft/FA have been discussed and I trust we will be in good shape by week 1 next year.

We were 6th against the run i beleive? I acknowledged we werent good against the pass but that could have something to.do with the fact myles was playing on on one leg. We had a better identity last year. We had a better foundarion to build on

No.... We didn't. Selling out to stop one thing isn't a "foundation". Hardly an "identity".

Our players got out schemed by a relatively new offense with an elite and unique running talent at QB that's been out scheming everyone. Let's not act like this one game means we're just awful at everything all year. Let's not overreact that much.

THIS year we have a foundation and something to build on. We need a DT, we NEED A LB. We could use another young CB.

Dude ravens lined up and punched us in the dick , how u not see that? They didnt purely scheme 300yds on the ground. OL were drive blocking our DL back into the 2nd level, thats called "mans game"

Dude, it wasn't just some smash move power football. There was a lot more going on. Our players blew assignments. It was the one time all year they'd play a D like that and it showed. It's dumb to overreact

Nope ive been pointing this out for weeks even when we won. Bakers rise has obfuscated alot of our defensive deficiencies

I'm good.  That would take time that I don't care to invest in your 'XYZ' sucks threads after every loss.

Then go back and watch the tape, our DL got dominated. Honest to god i saw myles hold up against the LT and LG yet our DL was getting their pads lifted 1v1....i dont get that

Good qb play keeps the defense off the field.
