Decent take on the panic

Fair enough Steve- but I don't totally agree with it.... Why do we have at least 3X more the number of cases than anyone else in the world? Looking at the numbers- yeah even Sweden- If you get diagnosed with covid, and you're old- your odds of dying from it go way up- to the 4% range. I don't have any proof, but I'll hazard a guess the population in Sweden is a lot healthier than the USA, and outside of Stockholm the county is a whole lot of nothing- covid cases are concentrated in big cities, and Stockholm had their fair share..... Though their point- maybe we should have gone about this differently, locked up us old codgers, and let the young 'uns run free- I can respect it. But it's water over the dam now, what's done is done. That JH graph shows on a worldwide level- the pandemic is far from over. USA? The # of cases and deaths is trending down. We'll know in another week or two for sure if this national lock down was a big boo-boo. Should we have traded off more short term deaths for faster long term herd immunity? We'll never know....

Vambo take me to it but yes. Cuomo and de Blasio have done everything the Trump haters accuse him of having done. Almost everything. They said that a travel ban was an act of War. Anyway this is from Newsweek a known Trump hater so I doubt they are sugarcoating it. Bottom line is probably just Mass Hysteria and how a lot of people love to be involved in that. Makes them feel special.
PS the Japanese are known to be a very clean bunch of people.
