Yes, they were a Cleveland Band, if I can recall. More like the mid-70s. Ask Westside Steve, he could tell you for sure.
If I am not mistaken, Wild Horses may have rivalled his band for the "Best Band in Cleveland" title. Or maybe not.
He might tell you that there were no rivals to his band for that title.

This is quite a compendium, but it gives the dope on the rock scene around here in the 70s/80s:

Jacksonville: Lynyrd Skynyrd. (from Jax)
i knew it had to be some southern redneck, black-toothed, bourbon-swiggin' band.

Actually, you'll find more redneck, black-toothed, bourbon-swiggin' people in southern Ohio - you know, the one that can run, jump or swim across the Ohio River from West Virginia across the border. I hav some relatives on my Dad's side who I would never admit are relatives if you saw them in person and they live down there!
Most of the people I know in Jax are either transplanted northerners or second/third gen transplants, not very many rednecks at all.
Shinedown - from Jax and more modern than Synard or Molly Hatchet.

Time is no excuse for shit music. I still have my parents original pressing of Yellow Brick Road. Love Elton's old stuff. The Bruce wanna be, Micheal Stanley sucks.
You got to be from the back hills because your favorite Elton song is "Please let my cousin go down on me".
