Browns will host the number one pick and the Rams will get a number of picks back. The picks that the Rams received is unknown at this point. Adam Schein confirmed this on NFL Sirius Blitz today. It will be announced very soon.

BS? Adam Schein confirmed it. Go check it out. And definitely it's not out of the question, since both teams were talking.

It just seems weird it's not all over the web. I guess Schein has some really good sources.

  • I cant find anything.....anything.

  • 3 days? Ban him till after the draft.

Better be true or im not gonna be happy with this post.

  • How am I joking? If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Don't blame me, blame Schein having xxxxing shitty sources.

  • so, he's that enamored with beaver cleaver bradford.

so it is. i do love that the franchise's future will be present on day-one for the offensive install at Lake Erie WCO University.

he'll have a bright mentor well versed in the system to pop quiz at will, and a solid veteran showing him how it's done on the field. ironically, Jake has a two year contract...i can't imagine a better situation right now.

With posts of this magnitude, you had better be certain of something like this.

  • In a preview for Sportscenter

They just said "The possible trade by the Browns for the No 1 pick may shakeup the draft"

EDIT...talking about it on ESPN news right now 5:32 pm

    EDIT...NON STORY....Yesterdays news

So u post something that nobody else can find anywhere, and now you want to pass the buck?

You are the one who posted it HERE, not Adam Schlong.....

  • Bradford on the Browns = Tim Ouch

Or you for jumping the gun and posting it like it already happened?

    --Changing to "rumor" staus...

I am not jumping the gun nor posting it like it happened. Adam Schein confirmed it. It's just weird that it's hasn't leaked to another.

This is from another Browns board. My247forums.com

"listening to sirius radio show the nfl blitz and they announced the browns have made a trade with the rams.

but they wouldn't announce what it is until later in the 2 o'clock hour.

haven't been able to find anything else on it anywhere"

  • This better NOT BE TRUE... why does everyone think Bradford is the best thing since sliced bread?! he was a good college qb... but not great. And he's a spread offense qb.. name me successful college qbs who ran spread offenses and are also successful in the nfl. The ONLY one (and this is a HUGE reach) would be alex smith. Stay at 7!! This would be a GREAT trade for the rams.

  • Please don't do it, we need many players...use all picks.

  • so, he's that enamored with beaver cleaver bradford.

Supposedly more than a few teams are and one of them (granted also a Rumor) is the Steelers. Either way the Stains will have to unload A LOT to get the number one pick in the draft. It's a bold move because as others have said on this very board, if Bradford doesn't pan out in this scenario the franchise is set back yet again.

Oh really? What about Drew Brees? He ran the spread offense in college and was successful in college and is successful in the NFL.

You are so wrong, man. We have a better much o-line than we did than. GTFO off this board.

Who would have been a fine QB had he not landed with the Browns. The Browns were in a whirlwind at that point. I'd say if you transplanted a rookie Couch in to the league right now with a Browns organization on the mend you'd have a franchise QB. He just came out at the wrong time. You can't blame Couch. I also believe Bradford is legit.

i'd hate it too...if he sucked.

can you imagine them trading up to #1 for anyone else than bradford? it would have to be for him.

if true the QB guru's cred is on the line for about the 5th time in as many months.

it's clear this new regime has no problem making a decision.

I respectfully disagree. This team has a strong running game and a pretty good pass blocking line. Add another receiving threat and there will be weapons to use. Plus, if the browns picked up bradford he won't be thrown in immediately, he will be given time to learn first

How do you find the time to check in on the pissburgh squeelers when your always trolling this board like a rat?

  • Adam_Schefter The St. Louis Rams and QB Sam Bradford will not have a contract in place before the draft -- both sides' decision.

First time in 3 years the #1 pick wasnt signed before the draft. There leaving it open for a possible trade, I just hope it aint us. I like the draft to much to have it over before it starts lol
