He's mad because our rookie guard Shawn Lavauo did work on him all night. You wanna be feared, start off by beating the man in front of you, not by taking cheap shots on a defenseless QB.....thats weak son...reaaallllll weak.

1st Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU 3rd Darius Slay, CB, Mississippi State4th Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma5th Earl Wolff, S, N.C. State6th Lucas Reed, TE, New Mexico

Could not agree more; other O-lineman will notice this cheap shot on film and will be on the lookout....he will get what is coming

A player like that does not have a mindset at all. So much for all the coaching he was supposed to have and not even thinking what it does to his team (penalties, auto first downs, etc.) Maybe in your warped world he would be your hero but due to his stupid "mindset" he doesn't play much with supensions and all.

Pay no attention to him; it is odd that he would post here instead of his beloved team...if we are all losers, why would she care enough to post her comments?

Listen "Formerly Stone" if the shoe was on the other foot and lets say Rogers did this I would feel the same way I do now. Suspension, Suspension, Suspension!!!! That sorry excuse for a football player named Suh obviously doesnt know football. There is dirty players then theres class and its obvious which road Suh took. Hope he tears his ACL and is a bust!!!

We like guys that will take a QBs head off clean like rogers not cheap shots like suh took..

Its the stooler fans that like dirty football but you would already know that...😉

This coming from a jackass whose team had four personal foul penalties in one half against Denver, not too mention having a player the previous week getting tossed after what, 4 plays???

LOL - keep on making an ass out of yourself, buddy - it is quite amusing.

Alright, come on. A damn good QB? Based on what? The last time he did anything was YEARS ago. Carolina won't regret letting him go. Yes I'm a Steeler fan but if he were a Packer, Patriot, Jet whatever I'd say the same thing. He's past being "damn good" well past. Classy guy though, I'll absolutely give you that much.

To some maybe, but not to most. And don't tell me they're wouldn't be some backwater Steeler fans who wouldn't think it was just hunky-dory if one of your guys pulled the same stunt on an opposing qb.

Suh's gonna learn what goes around, comes around. Like chop & crackback blocks. He's a smart kid- once he starts getting fined, he'll learn to tone down his act.

And times have changed- if anyone pulled the Turkey Jones head spike done on Bradshaw today, they'd get suspended 4 games minimum, plus a max fine.

I'm not going to go out and say Jake's the greatest. And yes, I'm going to mention preseason. He has been great this preseason:

                                38/48 (79.2% completion) and a 110.5 qb rating.

He has also been passing the ball around to our less than stellar WR's. He has been able to throw to 10 different receivers in a half.

Granted yes, preseason, but if the trend continues I think he'll be a "damn good" qb this season. But all I'm hoping for is him to be a good one (minus the damn).

AND... I would not be happy if we had a d lineman who plays dirty. That's the exact kind of thing we're trying to get away from, STUPID penalties. We already have a bad enough D and turn the ball over enough. We don't need to be giving up 15 yards for free.

AND... I'm pissed that our O line didn't back Jake up. I saw no one stand beside Jake after that.

I think it is good to have players with a nasty attitude. And this guy will be a good player, and heaven knows the Lions need someone with a nasty attitude.

In other words, I essentially agree with you. The Browns could use a guy like him. Nevertheless, if a player commits a cheap shot like this and causes the team harm with a penalty...and a possible suspension (though I doubt that would happen) he has to be called on it. The calling consists of "keep the attitude, just do things within the bounds of the rules so that the team doesn't get hurt"

Yes, he probably did. The simple point being that he was out of bounds with his actions. That is all we are saying. Do you disagree with that?

I dont think the kid should be suspended. a teams defense should have a midset like he said...its not like the kid hurt jake out there so theres no need for him to sit out some games. i tell u what i wish our d had some head hunters like that...maybe then we would get some more respect around the league and teams fear us instead of laughing at us

There is one thing I know about the NFL. Players do not take kindly to trying to end someone's career. Hey..clean hits is part of the game but what Suh did was out of line.. Thats someone career and life your f**king with. I'm sure some of his team mates especially the vets told him.. Not cool...Unprofessional by Suh..He's young and will learn..Mangini says he was a good kid.
