Did you compare T Rich to Darren Sproles??

Google is your friend, type in Trent Richardson the next Darren Sproles i wrote every single article for every website, and i am the guy on every national radio show who said the same thing Jim Rome Mike and Mike, Skip Bayless etc and so on i am everyone because my power spans that far.

Hey guys its 2012 i expect you all know how to research using the internet, or are able to afford stations like ESPN on TV, or have access to a radio for sports shows.

Based on this I'm pretty sure you are in fact the Omniscient Ass-Hat known as Jim Rome...

      @sdbrownsfan said:

Sproles!? How many tackles does Sproles break? Darren Sproles doesn't have the size, strength and balance to bounce off tacklers like Richardson.

Maybe what "Jim" was saying is TR won't be breaking any tackles at the next level...

Ok I took your condescending advice and found nothing. That is a horrible comparison. They are literally two totally different backs. I must be missing something...

I did... you had to use Googles "Literal" advanced option on the entire phrase. Buried wa-a-a-a-y down the hit list...

      No? 🤔

      OK, Claiborne / Floyd... 😡

The Dolphins offered there second round pick already.

The Browns are in talks with the Bucs right now about the 4th pick as well as the Jags..

But almost 100% they do not draft at 4. This should be no shock to anybody

Not that I disagree with the trade down's likelihood, but how do you know who's offered us what???

I think Claiborne at 4 and then best RB available, with either a QB or a WR in the second round. That could mean a 3rd round WR as the first receiver picked. Call me crazy but here's my logic:

It's a deep class at WR and they have said a lot of things to distract people from Claiborne. I think they see the talent as well above the other options (Richardson or Blackmon) and the need to be just as great. So we have 4 picks in the first three rounds and we need a WR, DB, QB and RB (and linemen, etc). The question is how do the Browns get the best combination of the four. Caliborne totally solidifies the D, with perhaps a couple of later round DE's and OLB's. But right now, it's a glaring weakness in a pass-oriented league. There are a couple of good RB's but waiting for the second round is a gamble and a steep drop=off in talent. So I think they'll pick the RB up in the first round. In the 2nd round, if they've identified a QB and he's still there, they'll go for him. As there will be some good quality selections at WR in the third round.

On average, this is the best strategy for the Browns. It starts with Claiborne and then they'll watch the board and potentially change strategy if someone drops. But my call is Claiborne (DB), RB, QB, WR, OT, OG, in that order, in the first 4 rounds. 4 or 5 of the 6 will be starters in game 1 (DB, RB, WR, OT and possibly OG)

Fisher came out and said that the Browns are a possible trade partner with the Rams. How fucking stupid is that. You snub the Browns who have the better deal by picking ahead of the Skins and offer a second 1st rounder this year, claim it wasn't because of any relationship you have with Shanahan, and then say you are looking into a draft day trade with the Browns to move up to 4... THE SPOT YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN PICKING AT IF YOU HAD TAKEN OUR BETTER OFFER!

People think our team is run by a bunch of morons.

If Rams want our #4, fine... just make 'em overpay for it.

The #6, their #34 and their #38 (via the 'Skins) would be a fine place to open discussions.

our offer wasn't better. we offered 3 firsts if you believe the reports....skinsmatched the 3 firsts and threw in an additional 2nd, so im not sure how ours was better. for our #22 to be better than a skins 1st rd, they'll have to make the playoffs....certainly possible.

word is that we tried a counter offer, which were not permitted by les snead. so it boils down to who you believe, cause someone's lying. holmgren says one thing, snead says another. being as i dont see any motivation for snead calling the walrus a liar, chances are much greater that holmgren misled his season ticket holders due to pressure and backlash if he told the truth. irony being, no one would have been upset with the truth.

we made an offer....the skins made a bigger offer, move on. but no..just like his superbowl loss, holmgren goes public with his griping and whining effectively shoving his foot into his mouth...again.

He seems dickish when he was talking about it. Like he wouldn't be willing to give up a 2nd rounder to move up even though it's value.

I was watching NFL Network yesterday and they talked about us taking Weeden at #22. Makes no sense to me- Everyone is hung up on his age- he would easily fall to #37.

So I guess i don't get this regimes thinking- you want to trade back to get more picks or better value (trade back and take a guy like Richardson) yet you over value someone like Weeden. If he's taken at #22- I'm lost.

It would be nice to put all the pieces in place get a RT and a couple playmakers- evaluate Colt over the season and decide at that point where you are at and where you need to be at the position.

I actually think Weeden would be a great move later on in the draft. Rounds 1-3 should not be where we take him unless we pick up a shit ton of second round picks via trades and can AFFORD to take a flier on him.

As far as the NFL network is concerned that is all speculation from "draft insiders" those guys get paid to speculate it is their job. I wouldn't put much stock in it. None of them saw us taking Taylor, Sheard, Ward ... and the list goes on.

Wow, are some of us really considering "Weeden"... WEEDEN? 😆

The dude is as old as Jake Delhomme! ...wow, desperate times call for desperate measures I guess... 😵

Give Colt 3 or 4 more years and when he gets to be weeden's(snicker) age, he'll be a hell of a lot better than Weeden... Weeden will probably be retired by then anyway... C'mon people he'll be a 29 year old rookie?

Not comparing the two...but how old was Warren Moon when he was an NFL rookie? How about Doug Flutie or Kurt Warner?

I'm not saying that it is not possible but because a couple of guys worked out it's the rule and not the exception? Miracles CAN happen but realistically just because they have happened before doesn't mean it's for sure going to happen again. Kurt Warner was a fairy tale come true, grocery bager to superbowl champ... it's just not likely to happen again.

I don't know, maybe I'm just a bitter 30 year old that wishes that it was me in his place... it's not a good reason to diss the guy, my bad. I wish him the best of luck and hope all his dreams come true. I just like Colt much, much more I guess. I'll tell you what though, I would be happy to have him take Seneca Wallace's place as a backup to Colt. I really don't like Seneca that much at all.

Floyd will not be there at 22. Can almost guarantee that...

Not comparing the two...but how old was Warren Moon when he was an NFL rookie? How about Doug Flutie or Kurt Warner?

Add Joe Theisman to that list.

I think we end up drafting Tannehill #1. It just may not be with the #4 pick...we might trade down a couple of slots.

I would have no problem with that if it could happen.

Personally my favorite mock is my own 😁

                                        #04- Richardson

                                        #22- Floyd/Wright/Hill

                                        #37- Best available RT

                                        3rd- Minnifield

                                        4th- Burfict

                                        4th- Osweiler

                                        BPA on out...

This draft is the most complete that I've seen.

A)Gives us a legitimate RB threat, best since AP- Maybe Emmit Smith

B)Addresses and upgrades the WR position opposite Greg Little

C)Shores up the OL and completes it, for now.

D)Gives us a good CB or FS with Cleveland ties and roots

E)Provides an animal a LB, one with question marks but DQ could have a good influence and mentor him

F)Brings in a young QB to compete against Colt, I think Brock has potential anyways.

G)Still leaves Heckert 7 picks to work his draft skill and knowledge with, I'm sure he can net some gems in there somewhere.

After the above draft our needs and weaknesses should be somewhat diminished right?

Said this morning that to the delight of some Richardson is being brought in for a visit, and to the dismay of others Weeden and Cousins are being brought in as well.
