I kinda think you are right Z. Here are the QBs who so far have not been inducted into the HOF who have had the most productive careers. A few are obviously not eligible yet. These are the PFR career production numbers:

FYI, McNabb's productivity stats are actually better than the following: Bart Starr, Aikman, Jim Kelly, Van Brocklin, Staubach.

Another interesting note here: Ken Anderson is #2 on the list of most productive career players who are not in the HOF, yet who are eligible. Jim Marshall DE is #1.

I for one would probably advocate that Anderson is more HOF worthy than McNabb. Then there is Hadl, who actually won an AFL title.

agree completely. All these other greats are going to basically be slapped in the face when you start putting "above average" guys in the hall. How do think all the other Nobel prize winners felt when fucking Barack Obama won it. Same way I see it

McNabb isn't getting into the Hall. As has been said many times, it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Very Good.

However, worms everywhere are rejoicing that he's retiring.
