I think we must be hoping to take a QB in the 1st round then acquire a pick via trading Kizer to bundle moving to grab Mike White somewhere in round 3 or 4.

Bold is FIFY. I just don't see that happening, more silly season speculation with no hard basis in fact.

From a KC point of view....yes, We'd gladly take him for a 5th round draft pick. The original poster is incorrect about Tyler Bray being on our roster...he isn't...he is a FA. Only Mahomes on the roster....

Back to the issue at hand. We are looking at having to sign a veteran type to back up....Chase Daniel will be strongly considered...but if offered, why wouldn't we in KC want this....as mention before, Kizer is CHEEP. and he comes with NFL starting experience....he wasn't that good, but again, not many recieving options on a bad team...he isn't just a nobody..he went in round 2 for a reason..and he is absolutely worth way more to us than some lottery ticket rookie non experience QB we might draft in round 5. It would be totally worthwhile from a KC point of view to do this....it also seems very "brownsy" of the Browns to want to do this.

They traded Alex Smith because they think he will be a bust. There aren't multiple reports from inside and outside the team expressing the opinion that he's about to be a star....and there aren't videos like this explaining why

Pat- good for you guys, I don't think anyone saw this coming. Certainly not at this level. You have a stud team. Super bowl level quality. We'll see how the suddenly porous Browns D stacks up against that firepower Sunday.

I went to the Denver game in Denver and watched him sling a pass about 40 yds that never looked like it got more than 10-12 ft. off the ground and then skittered another 25-30 yds after first bounce. And I watched him overthrow #10 on a long pass at least 60 yds downfield. It is harder to overthrow #10 more than any other receiver in the NFL IMO. But he did.
I'd never seen an arm like that before. And he makes it look effortless.
