Making a bunch of zucchini bread loaves, cleaned up out at the barn, we did a jig saw puzzle, and my one team is worse than bad, in last place, and I blame the stupid computer because I was fishing and didn't get to pick my team. My other team, did great, but still losing, not even Josh Allen, Judkins and Cook can save this week. But I shall endeavor to persevere.

What’s everyone doing on this mini bye? -
Final: Browns (3-1) 27, Steelers (2-2) 24 · Week 4It was GREAT to see the squealers suffer a serious lack of talent, crap play-calling, offensive line struggles, and Rodgers playing like he was eh.....stoned? He has lost a lot of arm, was floating passes again and again, and missing targets all over. The squealer defense - secondary - no workee vs the Browns. Boston is a monster rookie wr, Conception gets freaking open, and Judkins got me 21.6 points in fantasy football. Squealers are last in the division already. Browns -first. If twatson can avoid pick sixes, fumbles and ints, well, GO BROWNS ! (btw, anyone ever see the squealers have so many penalties?

Jared VerseIt certainly seems that the new defense WORKS - disguise and deception keeps the offense guessing. That just seems brilliant instead of "this is what we do, we dare you to be successful". Add all that talent, it was a great defensive display.
-
Jared VerseI think in the first week - they were playing tentatively. New defense - interesting stuff here:
Browns’ new defensive scheme built on deception, not raw power
"For the last three seasons, the Browns ran Schwartz’s wide-nine pass rush: a traditional four-man front, elite edge talent and pressure generated by lining up and winning individual battles. It worked, largely because of Myles Garrett. Garrett is gone. Alex Wright is gone. And Rutenberg is installing a defensive system built on deception and disguise rather than raw push."

The Official Browns vs Panthers Game 3 ThreadLet's Go Browns. Carolina's offense has been clicking but it ends tomorrow.
I won't be surprised if the turd Browns qb blows it bigly.
-
The Official Browns at Buccaneers Game 2 ThreadOn defense, I expect more man coverage with some zone sprinkled in. Got to mix in some well timed blitzes to throw Baker off his game. It would be great to get in Mayfield’s head.
they just have to be far more aggressive - or it may be a longer day than vs the Jags. The offense wasn't watchable, they need to go ahead and put Sanders in.

"No. 32: Deshaun Watson - Cleveland Browns
As long as Watson is starting for the Browns, Cleveland will struggle. Watson delivered yet another poor performance that resulted in the Browns being completely blown out in Week 1. We will see how long he has the privilege of starting."

Week 2 Delusions...We will score at least 14 points
I don't know....lol....this defense has too much talent to continue like they did with the Jags.
It seems that this Browns defense was more read and react, far less? blitzing.......mostly zone.
the offense, with )(*&)&*( garbage qb play (except for one? downfield throw)) the running backs had a dismal
outing. Judkins only had 12 attempts - 33 yards. Concepcion had 3 attempts for 15 yards.... Sanders 1 attempt for ONE yard.
No pass rush? The Browns need to dial up an aggressive defense if that is possible with this head coach.
who knows what the score ends up as, but the Browns will get hammered.
and the fans who hated Baker and would kiss watson's butt know better, most won't admit it though.
Let's see...which qb will get me more points, Josh Allen or Baker.......

The Official Browns at Jaguars Game 1 Threadthat didn't take long.
after being projected at #28 power rating,

The Official Browns at Jaguars Game 1 Threadwell, I watched the game - on record - long enough for the dirtbag qb to throw a very, very stupid int.
Right there, it was going to be a disaster of worst expectations.
Meanwhile, Josh Allen got me 39.66 points in the Phil Dawson league.
wow. I'm glad I missed all the pitiful qb'ing.
**************************************
from Yahoo fantasy football - (btw, I don't believe anyone drafted him in either league.....)
Advice: Watson added six carries for 38 yards on the ground. The Browns had a lethargic offense for the most part in Week 1, plagued by several delay-of-games and a variety of other penalties. The box score reads just one turnover for Watson, but there were many other opportunities. His interception occurred in Jaguars territory on the Browns’ first drive of the game. Watson then threw an interception that was dropped on the second drive, and fumbled twice; one was recovered by the Browns and he was just barely ruled down on the second. The Browns were finally able to score a touchdown on a 46-yard throw from Watson to rookie Denzel Boston with the game out of reach in the fourth quarter. The Browns offense with Watson at the helm is ultimately turnover-prone and lethargic but has room for fantasy production in negative game script situations. Watson is a fantasy QB3 heading into Week 2 against the Buccaneers.

For Yahoo Fantasy Football Participants that Don't Sissy Out with Auto-Draft Every Year ?I did not like the auto-draft for the Otto Graham league for my team.
It was graded a "D+".
I LOVE my draft for the Phil Dawson league !
and it was graded.... an "F".
LOL.
The grading system is stupid. It said my best pick, was James Cook, rb.
Well, I have Josh Allen as my qb pick, and that is every bit as great a pick.
and I have Judkins.
We'll see. If I can just not be on the bottom of the the in Otto Graham, it will be a big win. LOL
It would have helped if other guys would stop picking my picks before I have a chance. LOL
-
For Yahoo Fantasy Football Participants that Don't Sissy Out with Auto-Draft Every Year ?Maybe I'm lost, are there board members that auto draft?
I did last year, only because I kept trying to draft and it would NOT work.
so, I'm going to work on that.
and btw, again, the Phil Dawson league and the Otto Graham league - one drafts at 7:30, the other drafts at 7:45.
Not sure that is going to work.

How to make Chickory coffee and wild foodsIn the pioneer days/civil war days, dried and roasted dandelion and chicory roots were used to make coffee.
Check it out. If we ever have a national problem with food for whatever calamity might happen, there is food all around us -
growing wild. Chicory is a very easy to identify plant. I've harvested a bag of curly dock seeds to make flour. Haven't tried that one yet. lol
but if coffee goes very high for whatever reasons, or the democrats cause inflation to explode, the ability to save money will be important.
I've posted elsewhere about dandelion tea, dandelion blossom fritters, as for any plant, having a definite proof of the identify of plants is important, some of them
have poisonous lookalikes. Many are easy and safe to find if you know what you are doing.
You can download "Picture This" and "Seek" on your phones - a cross reference and ALSO knowing what to look for will help greatly.
(btw, Picture This - has a subscription, if you don't want to try opening it twice before it opens the third time)).
This is just a small example.

Who do you think our starting QB will be?Follow the $$.
I'm guessing that watson will be named because if he could just do something to look
like another team would give them a 7th round pick for him, they could make a trade and try to save face
over the entire debacle.

Browns offensive line deserves their own thread !Wrong forum cal. Please delete.
dammit. I did it again? I type so fast the computer didn't pick up the copy and paste, I guess.
dammit.

Who do you think our starting QB will be?should we trade for a vet qb now to back up our rookie qb we get from next years draft. and more than likely need one to start this year,#4 can be cut at any time the money will be the same, the only difference is if we wait untill after next june 1st the money will be spread out longer. I say fuck it. cut his ass tomorrow
I agree - after hearing that he bitched about the fans booing him in the past, etc, it seems he would love to be
cut. He already has his money. Watch for him to get hurt again.
Sign a veteran. I like to root for Sanders, but it seems he tends to be late on decisions. The rest of the offense talent is hugely upgraded.
They need to sign another qb.
