@jrb12711 said:does jamarcus russell sound familiar?? Apparently he showed up to camp in much better shape ready to compete. I guess Campbell giving him a competition bump may have lite a spark under his huge ass. It could get interesting.

Extremely strong players will definitely make the players around them better, especially on defense & on the lines. I believe we have SERIOUSLY upgraded our defense, & not just with Haden. Don't forget about Ward..with the coverage people we now have, his shortcomings in that area will not be as glaring, yet his HITTING can be a definite asset in setting a new, more aggressive tone for the defense. I can't wait to watch this team gel. Mike

@sipeboy said:If Gay Ben went to the browns, would he then be the greatest QB in browns history? Are you seriousl with this question? Are you even a Browns fan at all? The Browns have perhaps the greatest QB in American Football in their history. Otto Graham led the Browns to 11 Championship game appearances, winning 7. Does that answer your question?

@metcalf said:Another over rated, over hyped Ohio state suckeye reject not cutting the mustard as usual. Let me guess, they denied you so you had to attend community college. Does that sound about right?

@ballpeen said:Sorry, I just don't understand what you are trying to say???? he meant throw, not through.

@jasont44094 said:I think Berry is going #4 to KC. There is no way KC goes anyway but O-Line. They had the worst O-Line in the league. I live in the KC area and it was pretty painfull to watch more than every other play end with a sack or rushed pass.

It was the best move the browns regime could have made with williams ,he wasnt happy or productive in cleveland and he was way overpaid by the salvage regime...some would say we could have got more for him but i doubt that very seriously ,way to big a contract to draw many interested parties...ive liked the overall silence of the club so far in FA as MH has said and is staying the course..we are going to build from the ground up and thats the only way to go...good job brownies!

dirt devil said:Hello. Mcnabb is better than quinn and anderson put together. Hello! McNabb ain't going anywhere that he doesn't think he could compete for a championship, and he sure as hell doesn't think that Cleveland is ready to compete for a championship!

@erie-dawg said:Holy $hit you talk football? I thought your sole purpose on here was to defend your boyfriend of his rape charge. Anyway I think we have learned to be more frugal with our draft pics from the last regime. Big splash with no waves. i'll be one browns' fan that has freaksofsteel"s back. i think the guy comes on this forum as a steeler fan without any predispositions on people's askewed points of view and does his best to keep the chatter to what he/we know best. afc north football. sure there are the little trolls that fly overhead once in a while and try to lay down some ground fire, but 95% of the time they are way off the mark. and in what i can decipher from alot of freekofsteel's posts he truly cares about the cleveland/pittsburgh rivalry and the power it could have going forward. when i first got into the nfl in the early seventies there was really nothing that matched the browns steelers hate fest. now you've got the whole nfc east cock-blocking everyone as the afc north has faded into obscuriy. hey man i hope ben get's through this dumb shit, and learns a life-long lesson from it. when we match up against you guys next year i want it to be full-strength no excuse football.

watch the long ball become the achilles heel of NY this year. if ryan wants to keep blitzing heavily, they're gonna give up some points. cromartie cannot man up....

@haydenfox said:My guess and gut tells me that i think we will go after some lower tier guys but may try to make maybe one big splash. The one that makes the most sense and wouldnt surprise me is duanta robinson. If they were to go after him i think he is one that will go early and will be signed within the first 24 to 48 hours of free agency. I think that you will see them bring in an offensive lineman or two via free agency. I dont see them bringing in a whole lot of older veterans with free agency this year like they did last year with royal, barton, st. claire, womack, etc.. The free agents that they do sign i think you'll see more of the younger 3 to 5 year type vets. You never know, the one thing i dont think well have to worry about with this regime is us trading a bunch of our draft picks to bring in players. If anything i see us doing the exact opposite and making a trade or two to bring in a draft pick or two more. I am anxious to see ALL tenders the Browns make & I also expect to see some trades. It sure will be interesting from here on out. Mike

@haydenfox said:WTF is going on in cincy! Has Mike Brown Lost it!!!! It would appear that the ringling brothers circus is coming to town in cincy! With all of their past issues and problems it had looked like they were finnally ridding themselves of all of there charactar issue guys coming into last season then they bring in Tank Johnson, and draft Rey Maualaluga, Fat Andre, and Bernard Scott. All with charactar issues of there own coming out of the draft with Maualaluga and Andre Smith already showing their true colors in their first season. They also brought in Larry Johnson at the end of last season. Now this crazy mind boggeling stuff. On Thursday they work out Adam Pacman Jones and are In talks with a contract with Matt Cocaine Jones Agent. Chad says he guarantees T.O. is coming to Cincy! On top of that they have contacted Donte Stallworth to come in for a workout. I mean damn! What Plaxico not available yet guess they will have to wait at least one more season before they contact him but wouldnt doubt it if they have already gave him a ring in his prison cell to start getting ready to come to cincy in a year. Not to mention the paper in cincy reported that mike brown wants to bring another one of their own convicts back and numerous offender odell thurman! My head is about to explode thinking about all this. Oh ya and i hadnt even mentioned good ole ocho clowno yet. How would you like to be apart of that locker room. talk about a circus freak show! Paul Brown has to be rolling in his grave! Wait Adam Schefter just tweeted that the bengals are bringing in the Bearded Lady on Monday for a workout! I almost made the mistake of reading this.

Welcome aboard. Unlike many other boards, we have a fairly large group who try to engage in fairly serious football discussion....at least most of the time. Welcome!
