For our California guys- it's going to be a wet game... I hope you brought a poncho or other rain gear.   https://www.facebook.com/GNATSTAILGATERS/ Regarding drinking in the Muni or Burke Lots.. yeah, right... Just don't be waving a fifth of Jack Daniels around.

@stillmotion said: Not having him is telling. We need more of a veteran presence on D. And about the others, it's one game, look at the overall picture. OBJ, Baker, all of them, let them have a chance to prove they can bounce back. And the whole kicker deal is ridiculous. 100%

@d-bone said: That'll give the Browns even more time to identify their next swings and misses. Too Soon?  It will give them more time to negotiate a trade down

@tiamat63 said: If that is true, it doesn't bode well for Bakers eyes pre-snap.  The safety crashing hard on that 3rd and 1 where Chubb lost 3 is something any QB should see and check us into the right play.    Either Baker is too free and it's overwhelming, or he is too restricted. That play alone highlights the pitfalls of both scenarios. Some of the presnap reading has to be near impossible due to the fact that they break huddle and get up to the line with about 5 seconds left on the play clock every freakin time...

So much for your positive energy!.. "SPLAT"

@nero said: It was more of a "you can do it, but should you do it?" Question. Per our 49er fan on here they apparently did do it right there in the Bay Area. Something similar

@buck-the-frowns said: Yep, no one will ever touch that record of going to the championship every year he played. Many good QBs had as many or more INT than TD in that era, because the rules were different.  Ernie Davis was never drafted by the Browns, though. Good points and great catch about Ernie so thanks.  He was drafted by the Washington Redskins with the 1st pick of the draft in December of 1961 where he was traded immediately thereafter to Cleveland.  I never knew that.   He was diagnosed with leukemia in the summer of 1962; and died in 1963 without ever playing in an NFL game.

@stillmotion said: Baker "GX" Mayfield General Dorsey  Lt Baker Mayfield Sgt Peppers gotta love it?

@hoorta said: Exactly Steve- old pre draft stuff. Horrible? Let's talk Famous Jameis Winston's issues at FSU, Baker's @ OU pale in comparison....  https://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/jameis-winston-incidents-timeline-091714 And in the pros, how about Winston's Uber incident.   How many of us did things when we were young that we wish we hadn't?   I'm always thankful I didn't have a camera crew on me all the time like these guys do.  All I care about is what he does as a member of the Cleveland Browns.  Everything else doesn't matter.  Said the same things about John Manziel, he let us all down when he was here.  Here's hoping that Baker continues to be the guy we've all deserved as fans.

Good find cal

@stillmotion said: We showed progress, played with a lot of heart till the end, and kept up with the chiefs offensively. Our defense was banged up. I was proud of how Kitchens and Baker ran the offense, especially keeping duke in the game more. We had more spark offensively this game than the past 3 combined. We can't expect to dominate the Chiefs with Ward and Gaines out. Baker is developing.... and thats what we need. Onto next week..... For an interim coaching staff put together less than a week ago and marching orders to run the ball and  keep Baker alive.... they did fine. Duke caught some passes, Chubb ran well and besides, the Qweefs could not have won without a few of us NE Ohio guys helping them.

One of Jimmy & Dee's best thought was created by a guy named AJ McCarron. It became a double win for us.No McCarron,No lost picks.Sashi out. Dorsey in with 4 games still left to sort out a 0-16 mess..Will Haslam do it again with HueJax? I don't see why not. We go to Pitt.Than a Home/Home to KC than Atlanta into the bye week.I'd say Hue is finally down to 3 lives.Team Hue needs to stay competitive as we have been with Pitt & KC. I think were the better team right now, with injuries, at home, than Atlanta..Atlanta game holds most the keys to Hue right now..Before opening a full blown HC'ing search. In house,T.Haley or G.Williams should get the last 6 games as HC..I favor Haley at this time due to Al Saunders getting more hands on to Haley's offense being on the sidelines..

I think we need to see what Ratley can do

good golly, compared him to Eddie George as NOT a compliment??? egad. that just ....yep. No clue.

@htownbrown said: This is what happens when you're publicly critical of your boss.  Buhbye. can't disagree, Crow & Hue got off on wrong foot with cop post. than poked at each other rest of 0-16..Danny Shelton let his fingers start the walking with disagreeing on fan parade. LBJ basically told Shelton to stfu, than win some games. McCourtny imo mouth'd off to get a ticket out of town.suck-sess.Seem's like a clean slate was also in plan. Poor Kizer, he just could not play yet.silence is Golden (bear,Rogers)

LaBron will get his spaceship

@the-gipper said: Said one area scout: "Would you rather have the No. 1 pick and spend it on Josh Rosen or the No. 20 pick and draft Baker Mayfield? You can't convince me one is better than the other right now." The thing is...I basically agree with this sentiment. And everybody here being in all these different "camps"  simply adds to that perception. That's because we are all paid so much to make these professional assessments.

@tour2ma said: No more than you being infallible... or knowledgeable for that matter. I am not infallible....or pretend to be.  That is your bailiwick. Or rather, your bailiwick is to take some point of minutiae that some poster made and leap for joy that you may have caught something that may have been error.  You should change your screen name to Schadenfraude....as that is what you seem to be all about.

@ghoolie said: I never did. He bled Orange and Brown. He loved the Browns, he brought us a lot of great players, and Lerner and Haslam aren't fit to kiss his dead, rotting butt. No one cares or agrees with your fuyucking stupid opinion on this.

We all know what will happen... Dorsey will trade and sabotage our picks.. We will get a couple of Joe Schmos, and this team will win a game next season.. Maybe..
