Leroy Hoard is right

The fuck? You can tell it's peak off-season. We're talking about a QB that will starting his 4th season off our roster.
Cal, you hold onto singular fixations like the tenacity of a true sociopath. Learn to let things go.
-
I'll stay out of the sociopath part, but no doubt this is a topic that has become worn out and old.
I mean, what's the point? No matter if the decision was right, wrong, or somewhere in between, it is what it is and all the talk in the world isn't going to change anything. It's time to move on.
At this point I see two pretty good looking rookie QB's on roster. That is the only QB discussion I need to contemplate. Are we going to find out by seasons end if at least one of them shows out to be good enough to prevent us from having to use one of both of next year's first rounders in search of another QB?

To dream the impossible dream! Just go to the poliboard for confirmation of fixations on that.

you are going all in on being a wimp again? You were so wrong about watson you are trying to hide it?
The article link I posted is dated June 6, 2025. I didn't write the article - just posted it. It was news. You ran your fake ego mouth against Baker incessantly so freaking much, but now that he is a star in Tampa Bay, you want everyone else to keep real quiet, lest you cry and lose your bearings.
Have a nice big mouth faker day. LOL

If I wanted to talk to retards I'd go to a disability home.

Oh, look, another article about Baker Mayfield - someone believes the Browns should add both Mayfield and Chubb to the Ring of Honor.
FYI, I didn't write this one either !

oh, look, Tiamsies pansies, another article about Baker Mayfield that
I did not write:
Jun 9, 2025The Tampa Bay Buccaneers weren't entirely sure that Baker Mayfield was the super long-term answer. ... Billy Heyen is a freelance writer with The Sporting News. He is a 2019 graduate of Syracuse ... -
but, wait, tiamsies pansies, HERE's ANOTHER ONE !!!!!
"Mayfield finished third in the NFL in passing yards (4,500), second in touchdowns (41) while also shocking opponents by running for a career high 378 yards and 3 touchdowns while averaging 6.3 yards per carry."

I'm struggling to picture this being said by a grown (allegedly hetero) man.
Sometimes I just wish you weren't so fuckin weird bud.
lol, most of the time I wish you weren't such an arrogant fake asswhole ! You didn't have to enter or read this thread that I started. Grow up yourself. I'm guessing you "played football" at a woke college....

Hmmm, since everyone here is blaming the JFF college success to having Mike Evans, then how does that translate for the Baker Man?

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and thought you might have said something worth reading.

Zero idea what any of this means.
I "played football".... *blink*
No idea what a "woke college" would have been or looked like circa 2007-2008.

The difference in the Tampa offense and Baker sans Mike Evans is pretty noticeable. Both on film and stats.
The key is being subjective about it. Johnny and the A&M offense leaned on Mike Evans as a singular talent and philosophy.
The Bucs do more of the same, just at a higher level.
When you lose your best weapon, your offense always suffers for it. The difference lies in is your QB capable of exploiting other potential mismatches to their maximum effect in that absence.
I've always cited Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as great examples of a QBs able to do so.

Jesus, your inferiority complexes have inferiority complexes.
We all get it cal, you were too much of a chicken shit to play football, which is why you bore us on the regular about some mythical knee injury that kept you from playing high school football but somehow didn't keep you from enlisting into the Air Force right after you somehow graduated.
You didn't go to college because you are sporting one too many chromosomes and have waaaaay too few IQ points.
Thus why you are a 70 something old "man" who writes things like "tiamsies pansies" like some weird effeminate Gollum.

Baker vs Johnny? Absolutely.
Baker vs the big 3 names I mentioned? I wouldn't go that far.
Not a bad idea in terms of parallel. But to piggy-back off of your inspiration, Tractor vs Tractor that isn't as capable as hauling the heavier pulls.
There just aren't a ton of QBs you can hand a questionable personnel situation to and they still find ways to produce. Case in point, go look at that 2011 Colts team without Peyton. 2010 they won 10 games, should have won 11 and ended up in a playoff pinch against a damn good Jets defense. Year after? 2 games, with a dog fight to the bottom for thr 3rd game.

Eggs-actly! To your point, the Bucs lost all 3 games Mike Evans missed in 2024.

Which of course goes right back to the point I made. Baker is not an elite QB when his bailout specialist is on the sidelines. But at least he does not appear to be the fat Baker we got the year after he had a decent season here.
