Why Won't They Use Their Talent?

The problem I see with this team is this......... The Pres, GM, Coach all want to run the westcoast offense. But this team isn't built for that offense. We have no good receivers. We have way too many Te's. And we have a downhill bruising RB. And a second RB who can't catch the ball.
I know they didn't have the luxury of a real offseason to evalutate this team properly. And most of these players were not drafted for this system. SO this season is basically a recon mission to see what's there. But after training camp and 4 pre-season games and now 4 regular season games, they should know the westcoast offense isn't going to work with this talent,(or lack there of).
So are they going to be so stubborn and try to force feed this team the westcoast or are they going to try to win with the ACTUALL talent that is here? And if they are so hell-bent on this westcoast offense....WHY OH WHY didn't they get a REAL WR?

if you read between the lines of the player quotes, ie. evan moore, you can pretty easily see the discontent in the locker room. players are not happy with their roles, the offensive game plans are poor.
this is gonna be an ugly year im afraid.

Heckert and holmgren paid big money to dueche bag gocong and evan moore. These guys are non existant.. We have every right to be mad. We have a cush schedule and look terrible. Even the games we won we didnt look good in.

mostly agree...the FO sux. heckert is great at drafting it seems, but the FA decisions and lack thereof leave alot to be desired. the few guys they decided to bring in have all been complete misses thus far, so im not sure it wasn't a good idea to go the route of staying pat though. could have ended up just wasting more money and be hamstrung with overpaid vets that continue to make no impact.
i trust heckert, but the coaches are inept and holmgren always was a blowhard. ive always held that opinion of holmgren....simce he decided to whine and cry about the refs after losing the SB, ive never thought much of him. hated the shumur hire...still do. hated the jauron hire...thought he was coming around then his D lays down.
bottom line to me is with better coaching we could be much better, but holmgren decided to give his friends a job rather than hire quality coaches. at least he got one of the 3 right. by week 9, ill be in full on fire holmgren mode if this shit doesn't turn around.

The browns got schooled today by a better team at home and they looked like a college team from the coaches right down to the towel boy and everything in between...
New coaches, new systems, new players so things have to get worse before they can get better, i just really hope it doesnt get much worse than todays fiasco..
Nothing looked right today the whole game was a disaster..
I am starting to question the legitimacy of colt mccoys accuracy and arm strength, and pat shurmurs ability to draw up a gameplan and this whole regimes poor assessment of our WR talent or lack thereof rather..
