Heckert and holmgren paid big money to dueche bag gocong and evan moore. These guys are non existant.. We have every right to be mad. We have a cush schedule and look terrible. Even the games we won we didnt look good in.

mostly agree...the FO sux. heckert is great at drafting it seems, but the FA decisions and lack thereof leave alot to be desired. the few guys they decided to bring in have all been complete misses thus far, so im not sure it wasn't a good idea to go the route of staying pat though. could have ended up just wasting more money and be hamstrung with overpaid vets that continue to make no impact.
i trust heckert, but the coaches are inept and holmgren always was a blowhard. ive always held that opinion of holmgren....simce he decided to whine and cry about the refs after losing the SB, ive never thought much of him. hated the shumur hire...still do. hated the jauron hire...thought he was coming around then his D lays down.
bottom line to me is with better coaching we could be much better, but holmgren decided to give his friends a job rather than hire quality coaches. at least he got one of the 3 right. by week 9, ill be in full on fire holmgren mode if this shit doesn't turn around.

The browns got schooled today by a better team at home and they looked like a college team from the coaches right down to the towel boy and everything in between...
New coaches, new systems, new players so things have to get worse before they can get better, i just really hope it doesnt get much worse than todays fiasco..
Nothing looked right today the whole game was a disaster..
I am starting to question the legitimacy of colt mccoys accuracy and arm strength, and pat shurmurs ability to draw up a gameplan and this whole regimes poor assessment of our WR talent or lack thereof rather..

I agree abput the offensive idenity. If they are so set on running the westcoast offenese, they can't really expect it to work with WR's that suck, can they????????

To change the offense every god damn year to match the players we bring in, to only switch to the WCO when we have all the right players, or to just stick with the same shitty offense we ran the past several years THAT DOES NOT WORK! xxxxing idiots like you try to make it seem so god damn simple, well it's not. This system is actually good for our WR's, it plays to their strengths, any other offense and they would be doing even worse than they are now, regardless of our offense our o-line would still look like a pile of shit Thomas included, and McCoy regardless of the offense he is running would still be throwing to his check down guy 80% of the time. How does this offense play to our strengths??????????????? Our only strength is power running, and that's not the westcoast way. Good for our wr's strengths??? Our wr have NO strengths. They can't get off the line, they can't go deep.
I was trying to point out that the people in charge want to run a certain style offense,but yet they didn't get those kind of players. We need good wr's that can get open and go deep.
