About Dr. Ben Carson...by Dr. Carson

Well if a 300 year old document, and a 2000 year old book have no relevance in today's world then what is the importance of what happened 6000 years ago? Or 6 billion years?
Because if we're just focusing on current achievements and consciousness, then I'll take the brain surgeon over whatever in the fuck it was Brandon Weeden did before he was elected to the Senate & White House.
because if you have a brain that can be talked into a Flintstone like narrative of our history where we were riding dinosaurs and powering crude wagons with our feet....than it rules you out of running a modern country, especially one with the complexity of the U.S. Brain surgeon or not, if he really does believe in a 6k old universe, stupid is as stupid does then.

Oh stop...you're just a religiophobe, and a theophobe. Yeah Googled them ...fear of religion and fear of a god.
You lefties love throwing around "phobia" labels right?

because that's exactly how she felt.
So is that a good thing or bad? Try and be honest.
What was most repulsive about this wench after Benghazi was when she approached the family of one of those slain and said..."don't worry, we'll get the guy who made that video".

I was being completely sarcastic.

Belief in a god is not absurd. Belief the earth is only 6000 years old is absurd. There's a world of difference in between.
That is a good position to take and I agree, but that's not what people like Woody think. Either you've never read the religious threads, or you don't know the American liberal.

Oh, thanks for saying what I think... Haha.
I've never said it is crazy to believe in a god. I just don't agree with the belief that we need one to be where we are now.
Yes, I don't like religion. Yes, I think we'd be better off without it as a whole. But I know very smart people, my friends, that consider themselves Christian.
There is a wide range of "belief" levels in my mind. The more literally you believe an old book, the more you shun modern science, the less I think you're suitable for running a modern country. If you believe in the teachings of Jesus, you think he was a great guy and we should learn from the bible metaphorically, then go for it. That's not crazy in my mind and wouldn't limit your ability to reasonably lead. I still think we'd be better off without it as a whole, but I'd hope you could understand the difference.
Pray for rain? Think noahs arc actually happened? Think the earth is 6,000 years old? No thanks.
Believe in a god. Believe in the general teachings of Jesus. Etc? I may not personally agree, but it wouldn't outright limit you from running a country
Understand?

Same goes for the cunt that thinks it's "no big deal" for Americans to be murdered in our Embassies.
The original is is worse than Bengahzi. Her dealings in Egypt with nudging the Arab Spring along, and helping remove Quadaffi and then bragging about it set the region on fire.
If Hillary/Obama doesn't help depose Quadaffi then Stevens and the seals don't have to be snooping around for Quadaffi's weapons cache and there is no Benghazi.
Continued meddling in the Middle East brings to mind Einsteins definition of insanity.

couldn't agree more. It seems like neither the dems or the reps have the balls to stand up to the hawks that really run the country and say we're done with that fucking Shiite hole. Fuck the arabs, fuck the Israeili's fuck them all.

I like Dr Carson fun but I don't think a preacher stance a chance just from electability standpoint.
Same for Mike Huckabee who I like even better.

Huckabee is on that "good ole boy, listen to Bubba, Real America" kick, right? No thanks. I know every politician panders, but that's just too much.
-
Also, after reading comments in this thread and others, I wonder what the reaction would be if posters on here actively referred to Palin as a slut, bimbo, etc. Just kind of funny to me.

What was Huckabee's guvenatorial track record? Good?
Scott Walkers Guvenatorial Track Record? Good?
Kasich's? He did right the ship financially.
How about Gary Johnson's guvenatorial track record? The best off all of them?
A governors track record is relevant if he/she gets elected president and uses those same policies on a national scale.

I just thought Mike Huckabee thought on his feet and spoke well. Never seemed to be on the political fringe to me and was an affable cadidate. I'm assuming Woody knows little or nothing about him but thats to be expected.
Again I fear he's not electable.
As for the religious aspect I guess you need to decide what do your prefer someone who believes in it or lies about it. because of Barack Obama believed the s*** at the Church he attended week after week after week, well you understand. And none of his acolytes care about that.

If the democrats were as lowly as the republicans there would be black cock jokes all over her for the time she swallowed Glen Rice to the root and then snorted coke with him. Funny to me too how the crassest most low brow people in this country also profess to be the staunchest followers of Christ. Who obviously would also refer to a black man in thinly veiled racial insults.

from 2012, looks like he is really right leaning for a few things(anti-abortion, gay marriage, and taxes) but a little more towards the center for some others(health care, economy, environment)

My biggest disagreement would be on Afghanistan which I think has been a waste of time money and lives (but it seems like Im outnumbered on the right and the left is afraid to speak against Obama. For most of the rest I'm probably slightly left but basically don't care, ie gay marriage which I think could be perfectly compromised with a civil union (even though I'd allow it if I were king), abortion (which is a matter of irresponsibility) and the death penalty (do it or not just don't start feeling sorry and let the bastard go later).http://2012.presidential-candidates.org/Huckabee/Issues.php

If all these guys, that are republicans, are not electable, then who is coming out of Cleveland in 2016 with the nomination?

The point is he believes the world is 6,000 years old. He took all of the evidence out there in the world, and his conclusion was to believe in a 6,000 year old Earth. That screams lack of common sense, reasoning, etc. That is why I wouldn't want him in charge.
Meh, his doctorate would disagree. The point is he believes the world is 6,000 years old. He took all of the evidence out there in the world, and his conclusion was to believe in a 6,000 year old Earth. That screams lack of common sense, reasoning, etc. That is why I wouldn't want him in charge.
Much more complicated deductive reasoning going on daily in his practice than the combined 1-44 presidencies.

This statement shows how lost you are about what it takes to be president of the U.S The POTUS has to navigate landscapes with, we would hope, deductive reasoning on the level that even a brain surgeon would be hopelessly lost at. I'm not belittling brain surgeons but they don't deal with a "fraction" of the BS that presidents do. Think about it, brain surgeons make decisions that affect one person at a time. Presidents of even the smallest countries make decisions that can profoundly alter the lives of his entire country. Now think of the being the president of the most vast and complicated country on the planet. Not only do you have to make those decisions, you have to deal with the fallout from decisions made decades prior to you becoming president and in some cases possibly even before you were born. Iran is a great example, everything that transpires and has transpired between our countries goes all the way back to 1952. They Ayatollahs came to power after the Shah was ousted solely based on what happened in 1952. Ousting a democratically elected leader of a foreign country, such a small seemingly innocuous decision.....and it led to decades of horseshit and profoundly altered the future of that country. Iran is one of the most prime examples of why you stay the fuck out of other people's business.

That's hilarious Cleve. Doctor fucks up the patient dies. Dentist fucks up your teeth fall out. Engineer fucks up the bridge collapses. President takes the advice of the wrong advisor and if it fucks up.....
...........he blames George W Bush.
